I am in denial about Pietro’s fate and he totally survived and got adopted by the Barton family and is a regular feature at the farm. (aou spoilers)

Can Pietro tuck ME in like that, omg… Okay, whoa A, whoa there.. The thirst is showing againnn… Anyway, @writingfortheavengers has a very valid point. Very valid. Hello, the Cradle? It BUILT VISION A HUMAN SKIN CASING THING… AND HEALED HAWKEYE.

Just throwing this out there:
1) we never saw a grave, a headstone, or a funeral.
2) we never saw Wanda’s long-term grieving. She seemed pretty okay at the end of AoU when they were showing the new Avengers.
3) they took Pietro’s body with them in the boats. Just saying.
4) there are at least 3 infinity stones that could bring him back in Infinity War (or Civil War end credits or something)
5) Joss said originally that Aaron AND Lizzie were signed on for three pictures each, but after Pietro “died” he took back the statement saying that he was always supposed to be dead. But if he IS signed in for 3… AoU, Infinity War part one, Infinity War part 2 (or Civil War, if they count the infinity wars as one.
6) The CRADLE thing you mentioned.
7) none of Pietro’s bulletwounds were in vital places (heart or head) most were in his limbs.
8) also, they haven’t sold ANY merch. Any. No shirts, no toys, nothing. So, if they were planning to keep him killed, wouldn’t they at least want to milk it for all of it’s worth, knowing that ATJ would bring a new fangirl army to the Marvel fandom??
9) and TAHITI is a thing too. It’s the tech that brought back Coulson and it was built to bring back an AVENGER. they used those words. Now they have to live up to it.

I’ve done a LOT of thinking about this, and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Long story short, I’m going to stay in denial until they give us a valid reason not to be.
