Thx for your blog! You’re amazing!

Note:
Awwwwwwwwww!

“One more, daddy! One more!” cheered your
daughter, Liesl, all snug in her pajamas. She and her twin brother, Hansel,
were sitting in their beds. Kurt had pulled up a chair between them and was
reading stories from his book of German fairytales. You were watching them from
the doorway.

“Not tonight, Liebling,” Kurt smiled. “Ve’re
going to zhe mansion tomorrow. You need rest.”

“Awwwwww Daaaaaaaad,” Hansel whined.

“No buts,” you piped up, smiling. You rested
a hand on your pregnant abdomen. “Go to sleep. Both of you.”

“Aww, okay,” Liesl sighed sadly. Her amber
eyes stood out against her blue skin and her short black hair was drawn up into
two short pigtails. She looked so much like Kurt, but she had your powers of
telepathy and telekinesis. Her brother was blue also, but his eyes were like
yours, and he had a tail like his father. Each of them only had four fingers on
each hand, one more than their father, and three toes on each foot.

*Bamf*

“Mom, can we pleeeeeease stay up just a
little longer?” Hansel teleported in front of you and looked up with pleading
eyes.

“Hansel Charles Wagner, back to bed. Your
father can read plenty more stories tomorrow night.”

*Bamf*

Hansel popped back into bed as if nothing had
happened and laid back down.

“Gute Nacht, mein liebes.” Kurt said, kissing
each of their foreheads and then following you out the bedroom door. You walked
downstairs to the kitchen together. You pulled open the dishwasher and started
to put things away when you felt something nagging at Kurt’s brain.

“What’s wrong, blue?” You asked, using the
nickname you had been using since you were teenagers at Xavier’s institute.

“Nozhing,” He shook his head, tail swaying
from side to side.

“You know I can read minds,” you smiled a
little, leaning against the counter. He *bamf*ed in front of you, resting his
three-fingered hands on your round stomach. He felt the baby kick and smiled,
stroking your skin with his blue thumbs.

“Zhree kids,” he sighed. “All of zhem blue,”

“Yes they are. Just like you,” you raised
your hand to his cheek and gently traced the markings.

“Vhat if zhey…you know as vell as I do zhat
it’s not easy.”

“I know. But the world is a better place than
it was when we were kids, Kurt. People are way more accepting of mutants, even
blue ones, than they were back then.”

“Zhat’s true,” he smiled a little, white
fangs sticking out. “I can’t vait for zhe ozhers to meet zhem,”

“Neither can I,”
