Okay so, first, Warren is one of the original five X-Men from the comics. He doesn’t get much screen time, but we still love him no matter how poorly Fox treats him.
In the old trilogy: Warren was from a well-to-do family. His dad was a rich CEO, but he was ashamed of his son’s wings, so Warren broke free and became an X-Men (X-Man?)

Okay, so the new Warren (because of the rebooted timeline or whatever) is a teen in the 80′s. He’s been captured and forced against his will to participate in this German mutant fight ring in Berlin (for we’re not sure how long) or else the ringmasters will kill him.
This Warren is a bad boy. He wears leather jackets. He drinks vodka and listens to heavy rock music. He gets metal wings and because he’s weak Apocalypse convinces him to become a horseman and uses him for his own nefarious purposes.
So, in summary, 80′s Warren is attractive and has a tortured past.
Also, Ben Hardy (New Angel) has some nice abs, okay? Let’s be real.
