Peter Parker x reader for the whole ship thing ( I’m sorry, I’m kind of new to your blog… (: )

PETER PARKER X READER SHIP (gender neutral)

and don’t you worry at all, you did perfectly fine 🙂 I love this ♥ also imagined the Tom Holland one but I’m sure all Spidey’s could fit into this.

How they first met: Probably Peter accidently bumping into reader in the hallway on the first day of school. Already embarrassed about ruining his rep, especially with someone this attractive. Or like he’s running to protect reader in a fight and just goes to bridal style due to it being the fastest possible way to be the furthest away.
Where their first date was: Some ridiculous fancy restaurant that Peter thought would impress reader. It’s way too hot and Pete is pulling at his tie the entire time and can hardly speak without his voice shaking. Before they can ever order reader just laughs and asks Peter if they can leave. He panics but soon realizes you’re happy and leading him to a hot dog cart you saw on your way there.
When they had their first kiss: Circa third or fourth date. During movie night or a heavy study session for finals and he’s super stressed out despite being the smartest kid reader knows. Reader sees he’s obviously stressed out and kisses him on the nose before they realize the electricity and it leads to a lowkey make out session.
Who cooks: Reader. Pete can’t cook anything to save his life. Reader discovers this circa sixth date when they come back from the bathroom to hear the fire alarm going off, the kitchen submerged in smoke and Pete trying to web over the pan of stir-fry. This is also when reader discovers he is Spiderman.
Who proposed: Pete. It’s traditional and he could never break tradition. Aside from kissing you first. And asking you out. Aaanddd going to fourth base (or a home run.) But, he was determined to propose. He talked about it in his sleep, so you figured you might as well let him have this one.
The dominant one: Reader. Despite Peter being a superhero, reader is the one that keeps him on track. Not always making decisions, not controlling, but helps influence the right decision, whether reader or Pete like it or not.
Their favorite pass time together: Bad movies. As cliche as it sounds, that’s their favorite thing to do. Reader gets overly excited when Pete comes home with a bag from the movie store down the street. They snuggle on the couch and laugh at how horribly bad the actors or the plot is.
Who kissed who first: Reader. Pete wasn’t paying attention, he was so stressed out. You couldn’t help but notice how irritatingly cute he was being so, you went for it. Pete looks up in amazement at the reader before they lunge into it. Ah, young love.
Who is the flirt: Reader. The occasional ass slap when he’s putting away dishes or rubbing his thigh at dinner with your parents. You are quite often the tease as well, but as you’ve gotten older and matured, Pete becomes the flirt. When asked where he learned it all from, he says he had the best teacher.
Who is the romantic: Pete. He tries, he really does. Him fumbling is often more endearing then what romantic thing he’s trying to do anyways. Frustrated when he can’t get the rose petals right on the bed. Not being able to light the candle at dinner. You usually end up laughing at him, giving him a kiss before continuing like nothing ever happened.
Who wakes up first: Peter. He’ll lay there with you still wrapped in his arms. As weird as it sounds, he’ll watch reader breath for hours until they wake up, just content to have you there. Running his fingers up and down your arm, the occasional kiss on the forehead, thinking that he’s the luckiest spider on the planet.
Who comforts who the most: Reader comforting Pete. There are some nights he’ll come home completely broken. Whether it be after a failed experiment or not being able to save someone, reader is always there to comfort Pete. Rocking him back and forth, running their fingers through his curly chocolate hair and kissing him where it’s needed.
The cuddler: PETE. Despite reader being the flirt, when it comes to bedtime, Pete refuses to sleep without physical contact. Reader often complained during their first summer living together and Pete begs Tony to build an extra strong air conditioner system in their apartment.
The big spoon: Pete. The only exception? On the nights he comes home and got the living shit beat out of him being Spidey. On those nights, reader patches him up, gives him an ice pack or two and just holds him. Pete liked the tables being turned around once in a while but couldn’t wait for tomorrow night when he got to hold you again.
