Imagine Alex buying you flowers every Friday night before taking you on a date.
Usually red roses, because he knows you really likes those.
Occasionally lilies or daisies if he feels like changing it up.
Digs his face into the flowers when you open the door, you giving him the biggest, and goofiest grin you could, while he gives you the shyest, most innocent smile he could.
Loves the look on your face as he hands you them, before pressing a warm kiss against your lips to tell you how much he missed you.
Dates are either planned out, or completely spontaneous and up for decision. Alex prefers the latter, as do you.
An example of a planned out date would be dinner, and then possibly a movie if he can keep himself in order until then(Sometimes, you end up going home early because he can’t).
A spontaneous date may be taking a drive into the countryside and going swimming in a lake in only your underwear.
Early morning, or late evening runs.
Helps take his mind off of what happened in Cuba, and what happened in Vietnam.
Usually not full on sprinting, and Alex opts to jog more often than not.
Sings under his breath while he runs.
Tries to get you to do it, and has accomplished a few times. But, it’s not your cup of tea, and he understands that.
Loves the feeling of your hands running through his hair. Has gotten more and more fond of it, for his hair is growing out now and it feels really soothing.
Laughs out loud when your fingers tickle at the tip of his ears, a place he happens to be ticklish.
Sings in the shower. And not quietly.
He’s been favoring ‘Footloose’.
He likes that movie.
Early, early mornings are his favorite time of day.
Before you wake up, and before the sun actually rises and Alex lays in bed, with you in his arms and thinks to himself.
Thinks about how lucky he is to have you. How much he loves you. How much you help him deal with himself. And how he wants to marry you someday.
Adores it when you trace his chest.
Helps him feel more secure with his powers, because you have absolute confidence that he would never hurt you(And he wouldn’t).
Especially loves it when you press hot kisses against his collarbone, down to his chest.
Taking a lot of candid pictures of one another.
He plans on using them when he proposes.(Want a headcanons list for that? I bet you do hahahHAH)
You simply like to take pictures of him. He’s very beautiful.
Kisses equating to silent ‘I love you’s.
Not all the time, but if you say ‘I love you’, he’d simply give you a charming grin, pulls you closer and peck your lips.
