I think he’d try to be secretive about it. He’s used to being the only one to care for himself (and even that isn’t optimal, he’s not his favorite person in the world) so he wouldn’t make a big deal out of it. He’d probably curl up in his bed and let out soft whimpers, feeling feverish but not wanting to bother anyone with his problems.

It’d be a sight that melts your heart. He’s all curled up in bed, puppy eyes landing on you as soon as you enter the room. He’d let out a happy hum, the cutest little grin on his face as he sits up – despite feeling dizzy for it. “Mein engel!” he’d chirp happily, voice raspy with sickness, tail flicking left and right. He’d let you take care of him obediently, purring from the back of his throat.
