i literally swear to the gods above that if the writers change 10k’s name to Jeff after his 10,000th kill i will hunt them down and stuff them all in a sock drawer. one sock drawer. just a singular one.

my theory is that, because he didn’t know Doc or any of them at all yet, he just said the first name that popped into his head to mess with them

Probably, but imagine: Tommy sitting on a rock somewhere, his rifle propped beside him, thinking Ten Thousand, but then what? and listing off a ton of names to himself before standing up smiling and announcing to no one ‘Jeff, l like the sound of that’  

Then just picking up his rifle and traveling  on, no destination in particular, but a giddy smile plastered on his face
