both @glitterquadricorn and an anon wanted a dad!10k fic with a boy (i didnt even realize i hadnt done one whoops) so here’s that!
AU in which 10k has a boy
* charlie’s full name is Charles Mack just if you were curious 😉
Charlie is the spitting image of his dad. Only 5 years old and already wobbling around on gangly legs, his stark black hair sticking up in every direction, eyes an electric blue.
“Papa!” Charlie yells, wiggling his way off of Hector’s shoulders and going running as he sees 10k heading back in from checking the snares. A few rabbit tails stick out of his bag, making it puffy.
10k bends down to catch Charlie, and lifts him up, spinning him around, before letting him drop back onto the ground. Charlie peers around 10k, looking into his bag to see what he has, grinning when he sees the rabbits.
“Mama and me killed a Z!” Charlie says excitedly, gesturing to the splatter of blood on his shirt. You come forward and grab him, lifting his long and squirmy self up onto your shoulders.
“And we also refused to change out of our bloody clothes, even though we have clean ones.” You say. 10k grins, and ducks over, pressing a kiss to your temple, before moving on and heading into the house.
“We only saw 1 today. They’re pretty much all dead or cured by now.” Warren says, emerging from the living room.
