SO sorry I didn’t get this up yesterday! Jeannie was over and friendship is a priority or else I lose my friends :))))) but here’s this. This might be a trigger warning to fellow asexuals because 10k sadly thinks he is broken and messed up and inhuman (my poor little child I love him I wish he wouldn’t do this to himself damn societal expectations)
10k reads the book cover to cover. His mind feels like it’s going to explode. He reads it again, flipping to the parts that are important, that he doesn’t understand. He can’t read this around anyone else. They would have questions, as many as 10k has right now.
“So it’s normal?” He says dubiously, after scanning a passage from a chapter about the science of asexuality. “I mean, it’s not something you control. I didn’t decide to be like this.”
It’s a slight reassurance to him that he couldn’t have chosen to be like this, so…inhuman. Humans need sex to keep existing. Why is he one of the black sheep?
