what if when Peter gets his spider powers, the spiders start seeing him as their GOD?
-they flock to him, he doesn’t realize it.
-Peter’s lost something?
soon found either underneath a new spider web or covered in them,
-he doesn’t put a whole lot of thought into it, maybe he webbed it and forgot?
-But then, he’s making a sandwich.
-Just minding his own business, making lunch,
-and he turns around and this GIANT HAIRY SPIDER GIANT is hanging from the ceiling inches from his face and he screams.
-screams the shrillest girliest scream
-the avengers come out of the woodwork because WHAT IS HURTING THE SPIDER CHILD
-and they just find Peter holding his chest, heavy breathing trying to hold himself up against the counter,
staring at the floor where Clint accidentally stomped the spider when he jumped out of the air vents.
Now picture this
Peter’s at the avengers tower, ear buds in, working on his web shooters in Tony’s lab
he’s in his own little world not paying attention.
Spiders are coming out of everywhere, hundreds of them, going to him some are bringing things he needs to work, to him via small webs.
Peter still doesn’t notice.
The avengers, they noticed all the spiders going somewhere Pepper kept screaming at Tony to kill them but everyone followed the small pests to see where they were headed,,, straight to Peters location.
They stared wide eyed at Peter and his little arachnid workers. he’s controlling them.
Wanda tilts her head "he controls…the spiders?“
cue jokes at Nat from Clint and Tony everyone leaves. Not wanting to disturb Peter and get on their bad side.
Peter does, however, notice everyone being especially nicer to him lately.
Tony gave him more praises,
Nat complimented him in training,
Bucky gave him pizza (which he’s sure he stole from Sam)
Peter is very confused at what’s up without everyone acting so weird
until one day he’s been looking for something,
exasperated at where it went, he kicks the ground giving up. Then a weird shuffling noise is heard, he looks up towards the doorways and sees hundreds of spiders, pulling the item he’s been looking for, for days behind them with their webs.
Peter freezes watching them drag the object, to scared to move. They stop right in front of his feet.
Then he stares at them in horror, them staring right back, awaiting for new orders from their deity.
Peter’s eyes roll to the back of his head and he passes out.
