AU in which the reader uses pick up lines on addy and 10k, and 10k is totally oblivious
You lean onto the edge of the truck bed beside 10k, who has his rifle propped up, and is peering through the scope.
“Hey 10k?” You ask. He looks over at you, brows arching.
“Yeah?”
“Do you like raisins?”
His brows pull together, and he frowns, thinking.
“They’re pretty good.”
“Yeah? How do you feel about a date?”
His confusion deepens.
“I mean, I guess they’re okay. Why does it matter?”
You laugh, and pat his arm.
“No reason, dude. No reason at all.”

You’re sitting beside Addy in the truck bed, 10k and Doc sitting across from you.
“If I could rearrange the alphabet, I’d put U and I together.” You say, nudging Addy’s side. She looks over at you, an amused look tugging on her features.
“Oh, yeah?”
“Totally.”
She grins, and draws her knees to her chest, arms wrapping around them.
“Well, if you were a chicken, you’d be impeccable.” She says. 10k glances over at Doc, confused.
“A chicken?” He whispers. Doc smirks, and shushes him.
“I’m swooning.” You say, sighing. Addy laughs, and knocks her foot against yours.
“I tend to have that effect on people.”

10k doesn’t understand flirting. Especially not pick-up lines.
Which is why they’re so much fun to use on him. At least twice a day you drop them on him, and half the time they blow right past him.
The other half of the time, however, is much funnier.
“10k, something’s wrong with my eyes.” You say, squinting. He frowns.
“What?”
“I can’t seem to take them off of you.” You say. Doc whistles from the other side of the car, and 10k’s brows furrow.
“What does that mean?” He asks.
You wink, and he grumbles intelligibly.
“Whatever you want it to mean.”
“It’s flirting, 10k. Flirting.” Addy calls.
“What? How?”
“It’s called a pick-up line. And it never actually works on girls.” She explains.
“Then why are you using it?” He asks, looking over at you.
“Because,” you say, “it makes you blush. And damn, you look cute when you do it.”
Addy laughs, and 10k’s cheeks flush.
“That, my friend, isn’t even a pick-up line. That’s just straight up flirting.” She says.
