suprise! another dad 10k fic! (i have no idea what else to write) 🙂 enjoy!

you wake up and rub your eyes and turn to see 10k looking at you, wrapped up in a blanket. “good morning babe” he says smiling “babe?” you say confused “when did you start calling me babe?” you add laughing a little bit. “thought i’d try it out now” he says pulling you closer to him “clearly you didn’t like it” he mumbles kissing your forehead, “no no i did” you mumble. “are you feeling any better today?” he says as you sit up, you’ve been sick for the past week or so, everyone has been assuming that it’s just a stomach bug that you got from addy. yours has been lasting longer but, today you felt good. you nod your head yes and squeeze his hand, well at least you thought you felt good. “10k” you say putting your hand over your mouth and getting up out of the bed and running into the bathroom. “y/n” he says following, holding your hair back “i’m sorry i’m sorry” you say trying to catch your breath “don’t be sorry” he says rubbing your back. you take the towel and wipe your mouth and the sweat off of your face and you back against the wall pulling your knees up to your chest. he sits next to you and rubs your arm “you’re okay” he says softly “come on let’s go and lay back down, alright?” he adds “yeah” you say softly as he picks you up. he wraps you up in the blankets and kisses your forehead “what if something’s wrong?” you say softly “nothing’s wrong” he says his voice stern “how can you be so sure about that?” you say with your eyes closed and head pressed against his chest. “because i just know, okay? just try and get some sleep” he says softly. you lay there and 10k drifts off asleep and your mind is racing thinking of what could be wrong, you had a few ideas some more realistic than the others. you get out of bed, grabbing the knife off the table and sliding it into your boot. you go downstairs and from what you can see everyone is asleep, you start to walk outside and a hand rests on your shoulder. “kid, where are you going?” doc says as you turn around to face him. “i-i um just wanted to go for a walk” you say nervously not making eye contact with him. doc looks at you and tilts his head “y/n tell me what’s going on and be honest this time” he says seriously. you hesitate and look at him and gives you a look “doc i think i’m pregnant i-i need to go find a test or something” you say your voice shaky with tears filling your eyes. he looks at you eyes wide and pulls you into a hug, “i’m scared” you say quietly. he pulls away and looks at you, “come on let’s go i think there’s a pharmacy just down the road” he says putting a hand on your shoulder “thank you” you say softly. he gives you a smile and you start walking through the neighborhood “does he have any idea?” doc says finally breaking the silence, you shake your head no “he’s oblivious, he has no idea” you say “yeah that’s what i figured” doc says not sounding surprised, his tone of voice makes you laugh a little bit. you two get to the front of the pharmacy, weapons raised and you take a deep breath. going in there’s only two z’s which you both easily get rid of, “kid” doc says waving you over. you walk over and grab two of the tests, “i’ll um i’ll be right back” you say walking over towards the bathroom, you raise up your knife and open the door. there’s nothing in there, you shut the door. you sit on the floor counting the minutes in your head, you flip over both tests and see two little plus signs. “oh my god” you say softly tears filling your eyes, you’re happy and scared and in a way sad. what if something goes wrong? how is 10k going to react? how are you going to handle this? how is the group going to react? you get up and walk out to doc, “i-i’m pregnant” you say crying holding up both of the tests. he pulls you into a hug and you start crying harder “w-what if he doesn’t want to be with me anymore?” you say in between sobs doc pulls away and holds you by the shoulders “don’t you dare say that” he says his voice stern “he is not going to not want to be with you anymore that boy loves you more than anything” he adds. “i-i’m only nineteen doc i can’t do this” you say shaking a bit “yes you can, you’re going to be fine. everything is going to be fine, we’ll find all the books that we can and get everything together we have time this will all be okay” he says reassuring you with a smile, you wipe your tears off of your face and nod your head “okay okay” you say. doc grabs a backpack off of the shelf and looks at you “i’ll get some vitamins while we’re here” he says smiling, you nod and walk off towards a little section of books. you look down and find one pregnancy book left you grab it and go to doc. “i think i got everything you’ll need” he says smiling “grab some extra things too” he adds. you hand him the book, he smiles and puts it in the backpack. the rest of the pharmacy is empty, “alright let’s go back” he says, you walk out after fifteen minutes you get back to the house and everyone is on the porch, “oh no” you say stopping “this should be fun” doc says looking at you.
you get closer to the house and 10k sees you and runs towards you, he pulls you into a hug. “thank god you’re okay i-i woke up and you weren’t there i thought something happened” he says the sound of his voice all over the place going from mad to scared to relieved. “i’m fine i promise” you say squeezing his hands. “where’d you two go?” he says looking at doc and then back at you, doc gives you a look and then hands you the backpack and you slide it on. “come on we need to talk” you say holding his hand tugging him inside. you sit on the bed putting the backpack behind you “what’s wrong?” 10k says panicking sitting in front of you. “nothings wrong” you say taking a deep breath in “y/n” he says holding your hands. you look down and then up at him “tommy i’m pregnant” you say so quietly that you’re not even sure he heard you, that is until his eyes widen. “did you just say you’re pregnant?” he says getting up, your heart starts racing and you stand up.
“y-yes” you say “i’m going to be a dad?” he says getting excited. you smile and let out a sigh of relief “yes” you say again smiling, he pulls you into a hug and next thing you know your legs are wrapped around his waist and he’s kissing you.
“we’re having a baby” he says softly with his forehead pressed against yours. you smile really wide and kiss him again, he puts you down and you both sit on the bed. “wait that’s why you’ve been so sick?” he says “yes that’s why i’ve been so sick” you say laughing “i’m so relieved that you’re happy” you add running your hand through your hair. “you didn’t think i’d be happy?” he says confused “i didn’t know how you were going to take it” you say looking up at him “why wouldn’t i be happy? i love you and you love me. now we’re having a baby, there’s a little us in there” he says poking your stomach. “don’t make me cry” you say with tears forming in your eyes, “i’m serious there’s going to be a little us, you’re going to be such an amazing mom. i know it” he says squeezing your hands. “thank you, you’re going to be an amazing dad” you say. he blushes a bit and grabs the backpack from behind you, he opens it and starts pulling out different bottles. “i don’t even know what i really have to take” you say looking at the different bottles. 10k looks at a few of them and gets up and gets doc, who tells you what you have to take now then he leaves. 10k grabs a water bottle from his bag and hands it to you, “here” he say also handing you the vitamins. you smile and take them, he pulls out the book and looks at you. “it’s the only one they had left” you say laying next to him. “we’ll find more, we’ll get everything we need” he says smiling. he puts down the book and wraps his arm around you with the other one moving down to your stomach. “what if everyone freaks out? what if they say i can’t stay with you all anymore? what if something happens to the baby and i-” you say panicking. rubs your arm and kisses your forehead “first off no one is going to freak out and if they do freak out it’ll be them being excited. second they aren’t going to say that but, let’s say they did i’d leave with you. lastly nothing is going to happen to the baby and you’re going to be just fine” he says titling your chin up towards him. you don’t say anything, “i promise” he says kissing you.
you nod your head and put your hand onto of his on your stomach, he intertwines his fingers with yours. “i love you” you say resting your head on his shoulder, “i love you more” he says kissing your head.
