Okay so imagine you and Peter don’t live super close to each other, and you both have plans with family for Christmas Day so can’t see each other in person.
You would both set alarms on your phones for, let’s just say, 8am so that you can wake up and video call each other.
Peter would answer the call in his pyjamas with a Santa hat covering his messy hair, and an adorable sleepy grin on his face as he wishes you a merry Christmas.
He’s a romantic little nerd so he’d probably do something like holding mistletoe in front of the camera and kissing his phone screen.
Once you’d stopped laughing, you would find it adorable and probably do it back.
Since you can’t see each other on Christmas Day, you would meet up on Christmas Eve for Christmas movies and to exchange presents.
Peter would put a lot of thought into presents and would probably get you something he knows you’ve wanted for a while, as well as something cute and personal like a necklace.
I think Aunt May would probably get you a little present as well because she seems like the kind of guardian who’d be like “you’re dating my nephew so you’re basically my family now” and I think that’s really cute.
Going back to the Christmas movie thing, Peter Parker is scared of the Grinch and no one can tell me otherwise. The boy can fight super soldiers and assassins and giants and robbers without batting an eyelid, but that hairy green man freaks him the fuck out.
You got him a Grinch jumper for Christmas once and he’s never forgiven you.
I’ve said multiple times that Peter is a hopeless romantic, and I’ll say it again. He would put old Christmas songs on, ones by someone like Nat King Cole or Frank Sinatra, and pull you up from your seat to slow dance with him.
It would be like getting lost in your own little world; Peter’s arms around your waist and his chin resting atop your head, your arms around his waist and your head resting on his chest as he sways the two of you gently with the soft sound of Christmas playing in the background.
