Behind the scenes: When it was discovered that one of the Z Nation cast/crew members has a STRONG phobia of clapping monkey dolls, they began to randomly “show up” in their trailer and various places around set. The fact that it survives the blast was to reinforce not only the “Zombie/living dead” theme of Z Nation, but also the “clapping monkey dolls are evil and cannot be stopped” personal theme of the unnamed cast/crew member.
