When he first comes to stay with The Avengers, he’s a little nervous about hanging around.
You end up watching movies with him quite a bit. It’s easy to explain what’s happened in the world through them.
It wasn’t until one of the movies, when he ends up nudging, and lies on your shoulder.
He dosen’t know what to do, but you relax into him, and it happens from that.
You become cuddle buddies and everybody knows it.
Whenever one of you have a bad day, it’s cuddles for ages.
He likes protecting you in cuddles, so you lie on his chest and listen to his breathing.
‘Buck, you’re all warm and comfy.’
He loves it so much when you can lie and cuddle together.
The one time when he came to your room in the middle of the night after a nightmare. You invited him into your room and cuddled for the rest of the night.
He always sleeps better in your arms. Or when you’re close to him.
Steve got confused when he didn’t see Bucky in his room, and when he saw you both together, he just had a little smile as he shut the door.
You start wearing his hoodies around the complex because they smell like him and they’re warm and cuddly.
Whenever he see’s you, his arms wrap around you, and he murmurs ‘Cuddles.’
He is a complete fluffy bean. He might be an assassin but he is so fucking cuddly.
Whenever The Avengers see you cuddles together, they know not to disturb you.
Cuddle time is for Y/N and Bucky.
Clint was the first to pick up on this, and begins to warn everybody of disturbing them.
He loves loves loves playing with your hair whilst your sleeping. It comforts him.
