You bit your lip, squinting slightly as you shaded in the sides of the figure you were currently drawing. Before you, sat Peter Parker, your oblivious model and super cute boyfriend, as he did his homework.

Being a (self proclaimed) artist, Peter was often the face that occupied the pages of your sketch book. At first he was shy about it, but after months of being together, he was more than used to it. In Fact, he would sometimes pose in difficult positions for you so you could practice figures. He always was super supportive and showered you with compliments when you presented the drawings to him. He was everything you ever wanted and more.

“(Y/n)? Can you grab my math book?” he asked, not even bothering to look up from his current homework.

“Sure.” you set your sketchbook down and walked over to his desk. Out of the corner of your eye, saw something red hanging up in his closet. Upon further inspection, you found a shirt with the Spiderman symbol on the front.

“Aww, babe, that’s cute. Supporting the local heros?” you smiled, pulling out the shirt and pressing it against your chest.

“Uh..h-ha, ya. I mean, how can you not like Spiderman?” he said, sitting up.

“Good point.” you said, placing the shirt back into the closet when a new idea suddenly came into your mind.

Inspiration hit you like a truck, as your mind raced with the possibilities, “Peter, I’ll see you later, I just had the best idea for a drawing, I need my supplies and my good paper and…” you rambled quickly as you collected your things, kissing Peter quickly on the cheek before running out the door.

“Uh, ok…” A confused Peter said into the now empty room.

Three days. It took a total of three days to complete your masterpiece. After a lot of frustration, all nighters, and angrily throwing balled up pieces of paper at things, the final product was sat perfectly before you. You could not wait to show Peter.

When you knocked, Aunt May let you in, and told you Peter was out at the store, but that you could wait for him in his room, which is what you were currently doing.

After about 10 minutes of aimlessly browsing the internet, you heard him come in, and his foot steps leading up to his room.

As he opened the door, you jumped up, and help the piece of art in front of you, “Surprise!” you yelled.

Peter jumped slightly in surprise, before his eyes fell down to the art in your hands.

Before him was a drawing of himself dressed as Spiderman. It was perfect, the lines were clean and the colors were vibrant  and it captured him in a way that only your art style could.

But he had no time to admire that now, he was already much too busy with his internal panicking. You knew. You knew his secret. Had had you found out? What if you told somebody? What if you told Aunt May?!

Swallowing, he looked up and met your eyes, which were significantly less excited and now held poorly hidden worry.

“Look, (Y/n), I love you and I’m so sorry I didn’t tell you before, but you can’t tell anybody, alright? I promise I’ll explain everything and don’t worry I’m not in any danger, and-”

“Hold on hold on, what are you talking about?” you asked, completely confused.

“I mean, you probably want to know how I became Spiderman, right?” he said.

Your jaw dropped as you stared with wide eyes, nearly dropping your art purely out of surprise.

“What?” you asked, “You’re Spiderman?!”

“You didn’t know that?” he muttered.

You stared at each other neither knowing what to say.

Was your boyfriend seriously Spiderman? How had you not known that? How was this even possible? “Peter?” You stammered, waiting for an explanation.

“Uh, yes?” he asked, nervously scratching the back of his neck.

“Am I dating a superhero?”

“Yes…?”

His confirmation breezed through your mind just enough for you to acknowledge it. Your boyfriend was Spiderman! “That’s so cool! I can’t believe it! My boyfriend, Spiderman. That’s insane!” you laughed.

“You’re not mad?” he asked, a hopeful smile pulling at his cheeks. He couldn’t believe this had just happened. Sure, he had accidentally revealed his secret, but you weren’t mad!

“Of course not, that’s amazing,” you gasped, “Can I see your suit?”

“Sure, but you can’t tell anybody, alright? Especially not Aunt May.”

“Alright, Spiderman.” you smirked, wrapping your arms around him.

“You can’t call me that.” he laughed.

“Oh I wouldn’t dare, my beloved boyfriend Spiderman.” You dramatically fluttered your eyes.

“(Y/n).”

“Spiderman.”

“(Y/n) stop.”

You laughed into his neck, “All right, sorry.” you said before pulling him down into a kiss, “I love you…Spiderman.”
