Behind the scenes: The first couple takes, Nat follows Russell, but Nat keeps catching up with Russell. We try it once with Nat in the lead but don’t like the imagery (tallest to shortest).
Keith, who’s directing this episode, asks Nat, “Do you think you could put your hand on the edge of the truck bed and vault into it?” Nat walks up to the truck and looks into the bed and say, “Yea – I can do that.”
Roll camera, and on the first take, Nat freakin’ leap frogs into the back of the truck, no hands, and lands with a massive *THUMP!* (no crash mats in the bed of the truck)!! The crew watching on the monitors go nuts, and after ensuring Nat is fine, we wrap that scene.
