Yawning, you pull your robe around you tighter as you head out of your bedroom, wanting nothing more than a hot cup of coffee to wake you up properly. You move to open the blinds, wincing a little as the bright light streams in and spills across the kitchen and living room of your apartment.
Suddenly, you hear a soft groan from the living room, and you whirl around, mouth dropping in shock. You let out a piercing shriek and stumble back at the sight of an unknown male lying on your goddamn couch, his right arm thrown over his eyes as the light filters in. He jerks up at the sound of your voice, before groaning, holding his hand to his temple as if it’s paining his head to move.
“Who the fuck are you?!” Your voice is getting extremely high as you back away, your hand scrambling to grasp at the edge of the wooden cutting board. Just in case you need to beat him over the head.
The man squints, adjusting to the light, before his eyes land on you. His eyes widen, before he sits up straighter, holding his hands out in front of him. “I’m not here to kill you! I swear!” He squeaks, and you look to his left arm, glinting in the sunlight. Fucking hell, it’s entirely made of metal, you realise, trailing your gaze up the arm and where it’s connected to his shoulder. The scarring is minimal, but you shouldn’t even be seeing it, because he shouldn’t be fucking shirtless, in a stranger’s apartment.
