You and Natasha walked side by side through the crowded streets. You adjusted the sunglasses resting on the tip of your nose and glanced over at Natasha. She was staring straight ahead, not letting anyone else get to her. For a moment, you got distracted by her beauty. Her red hair tucked into her striped hoodie, her smooth white skin.
Her voice snapped you out of your thoughts. “Y/N. Hydra agent to the right. He’s staring right at us.”
You covertly looked to the side. “Shit. Do you think he recognizes us?”
“Probably. We are Avengers,” Natasha replied, grabbing your wrist and pulling you away from him. You could still feel his eyes on you.
Suddenly, spinning you around, Natasha looked up at you. “Kiss me.”
You were startled. “Wh… What?”
“Public displays of affection make people very uncomfortable. Especially the homophobes,” Natasha replied, placing her hands on the side of your face. “Trust me. It’ll make him look away.”
You didn’t have time to respond. She was leaning into you and pressing her lips against your’s. You stiffened awkwardly at first, but then melted into her once you realized you were kissing Natasha Romanoff. You placed your hands on her hips and pulled her closer.
After a few long seconds, Natasha broke away, glancing back over at the Hydra agent. He was walking normally, like nothing had happened. If he had recognized them, surely he would be in more of a rush.
Natasha sucked in a deep breath. She looked back up at you, glancing down at your lips. The heat rose to your cheeks. “Alright. I don’t think he recognized us. Let’s go.”
You nodded, following Natasha in a blank state as you navigated your way through the crowd. Soon, when you two were side by side again, Natasha winked at you.
“You know, Y/N, you’re a pretty good kisser.”
You blushed. “Um… So are you…”
Natasha smirked. “What? Never kissed a girl?”
“Whaaat?” You scoffed. “I’ve kissed plenty of girls.”
She smiled at you. “Good. I hope you don’t mind if I kiss you again later.”
The heat rose to your cheeks. You had no idea what to say. “Um… No. No. I don’t mind at all.”
Natasha smiled, suddenly grabbing your hand and intertwining your fingers. “Good. It’s a date then.”
A smile broke out across your face. “Yeah. It’s a date.”
