Thanks for the previous HC’s! How about a scenario (or HC’s if you prefer) for Todoroki with a fem!S/O who gets really upset when she meets Endeavor for the first time after finding out how he treated Todoroki? Like she gets VERY angry, yelling and very nearly attacks him and whatnot because she used to have an abusive father so she hates people like him? (Sadly this was my situation a couple of years back but everything is fine now!)
Todoroki’s S/O never asked too many questions about his family or personal life outside of school And for that, he was always thankful… mostly because he wasn’t sure how to exactly tell her of some things.
Eventually though, Todoroki confessed to his S/O the origin behind his scar and how his father still had a deep presence in his life. And how he wanted nothing more than to move and live past his father
Todoroki was surprised when his S/O pulled him forward, hugging him tightly and telling her boyfriend that she would always be here for him. She loved him so much and wanted to see him smile more than anything else…
However, like most relationships, the day came where his S/O ending up meeting his father. But unlike most relationships, his father seemed very set in his ways about his son’s girlfriend.
And unknowingly to Shouto… his S/O already had ideas and feelings out his father.
Enji, like most things, seemed to believe that his son was wasting his potential with a girl such as yourself. He barely said any words to you directly, the ones he did say were not polite in the slightest
Todoroki did his best to keep things civil, but even his patience was thin when it came to his father. And especially since the girl he believed he was in love with was constantly getting harassed by his own father.
But before Todoroki could spit his own venom back at his father his S/O had stepped forward, separating him from his father. Her stance was tense and her body strong. Todoroki could only assume her eyes would be burning.
She wasted no time in saying some of the most moving, yet awakening things to his father. She left no stone unturned, touching on abuse, neglect, and child protection laws.
Enji just stood there shocked, not sure how to react that this small and weak girl seemed too dedicated to his son… almost like she really cared about him.
You couldn’t help yourself… the memories and feelings of your own father fueling your fire. You could deal with your father… and his terrible personality. But knowing someone like Shouto… had a similar relationship… you couldn’t help but snap.
Shouto deserved so much better… and this asshole was going to know it by the time you finished talking.
When she finished, Todoroki watched as she turned. He nodded to her in thanks. But before she could say anything back, her arm was tugged back, facing Endeavor once more
His father’s eyes were now filled with rage. His lips spilling words of disrespect and disgust at this girls’ accusations
And then once more… you surprised Todoroki. And once the sound of a hand hitting a face was heard, you simply grabbed Shouto by the hand and tugged him away and out of the situation.
And his heart nearly soared. His S/O was so… so… so amazing and so much braver. And all because she loved him…
Todoroki and his S/O don’t speak of the incident- as nothing needed to be said. And no matter how many times his father asks of her.. Todoroki won’t talk about her. Enji lost his chance with her… as he had with so many things in Shouto’s life.
