Prompto x Fem!Reader

Yes! It’s finally time! Prompto’s finally free from work and can hang out with his lovely girlfriend! He pulled out his phone to make sure Ignis didn’t text him about anything. Especially work at the Citadel. That’s the last thing he needs, any reason to separate himself from [y/n]. He noticed he has new text messages from Noctis and decided to read them.

“Yo, Prompto. Doin anything tonight?”

“You’re still at work huh?”

“Respond when you’re off dude.”

Prompto rolled his eyes. Of course, Noct wanted to hang out. He gets bored with Ignis and Gladio. He responded to Noctis.

“I’m finally off, bro. And yes. I’m hanging with [y/n] tonight.”

“Aw dammit. Now I HAVE to go with dad to the movies.”

The blond chuckled at his best friend’s misfortune. He slipped his phone into his pocket and started lightly jogging to his girlfriend’s place. He’s been wanting to hang out with her for weeks, but never got the chance because of his job. But this time, nothing stood in his way. Except for the sudden accident ahead. The cops had the one road that leads straight to [y/n]’s house completely blocked off. Sidewalk included. Shit, he had to find another way around. He pulled out his phone and texted [y/n].

“Hey, babe? You home?” He waited for a moment for her reply.

“Yes, I’m home. What’s up?”

“Ok, can you send me your address again? I lost it lol.”

She sent him her address and he punched it into the GPS on his phone. He ran the entire way, making sure nothing else stopped him from seeing her. He finally made it to her place and knocked on the door. [y/n] opened the door and pulled Prompto in, kissing him.

“You smell like sweat.” She giggled.

“I ran all the way here.” Prompto blushed.

“Go ahead and take a shower. I’ll find your extra clothes.”

He nodded and headed up to the bathroom, hopping in the shower. He was so happy that they could spend the rest of the day together. After his shower, he dressed in his extra clothes and cuddled with [y/n] on the couch. While he was watching her play video games, his phone went off. He looked and saw texts from Ignis.

“Prompto, where are you? I thought Noct had told you to come by the Citadel after work.”

Prompto sighed. He knew it was too good to be true. He was about to get up until he received another text from Scientia.

“My apologies. Noct just informed me you are with Ms. [y/n]. Have fun and stay safe.”

[y/n] looked up at her smiling boyfriend and kissed his cheek, “You get to stay with me?”

“Yup! I sure do! Cuddles and games all day!”

“Don’t forget pizza!” They both laughed as they cuddled the day away.
