Summary: You and Brett share a room at college and you want to bring your puppy with you, but the school’s rules don’tt allow it. Brett has a solution to the problem.

”Babe, why’re you so grumpy?” Brett wondered as he sat
down on the couch next to you, patting your thigh lightly when you looked at
him with a sad pout.
“Oh, I recognize that look.” Brett affirmed with a
loving smile and he nudged your shoulder with his, reaching one of his hand to pull your bottom lip playfully with his tumb.
You cross your arms over your chest and avoided his
gaze. “It’s not fair, I just want my doggie her with me, I miss him.” your
voice started to shake again from your obstinate crying when you thought of
your dog, who was still at home.
Brett knew about your verbal fight with the landlord
for the dorms, how you lost all your ‘valid’ arguments about your dog coming along with you to college. You had the time since you would spend most of the time with self-studies.
