– Peter was going to come out to May when he was 14, but then Tony showed up and kinda ruined it
– He kind of decided not to say anything because he felt like if he told her she’d see him differently
– He was also scared that he’d somehow also accidentally “come out” to her as spider man
– the first person he told was Shuri, she gave him a hug because she knew it was hard to come out and it takes a lot of bravery to tell people who you are, or who you love
– Peter slowly “came out” to everyone except for 6 people; May, Tony, Steve, Bucky, Thor, and Loki
– Loki kinda already knew though
– Loki made a joke about it to Thor and Thor almost choked him until he remembered “oh wait my brother is lowkey flaming”
– Peter never really got around to telling Steve and Bucky even though Natasha told him they were accepting and cool, something about them being from the 40’s made him uneasy
– When he told May he was bi she cried, he got scared because he thought she was disappointed and that made her cry more, when she stoped crying she hugged him and told him that she was disappointed in herself for not being a good enough parent to him because she felt like it was her fault he was scared to come out to her
– Peter cried a bit and told her she was the best Aunt ever
– They both cried a lot and bought some ice cream
– Peter was most afraid of telling Tony
– He didn’t know that Pepper had told Tony already and told him not to bring it up and be extra nice
– Tony had been trying to make a big show of donating to LGBT foundations and saying he was excited for pride whenever Peter was around
– Peter was oblivious
– When Peter finally told him, he tried to act kind of surprised but ended up just awkwardly asking Peter if he wanted some rainbow stuff for Pride and if he was going
– After Peter left, Tony called up Wade and told him to “stay the FUCK away from New York and Peter unless you want to know what being trapped in a small box for a hundred years feels like”
– Thor accidentally tells Steve and Bucky and they use Bucky’s assassin skills to sneak into Peter’s room and fill it with rainbow and bi flags and lots of candy and a note that says “lots of love from Bucky and Steve! Happy pride!
