Dear reader,
The Ignis thirst has been more real than usual. I’m glad I was able to squeeze some thirst in before my surgery. Blind Iggy, basically being the namesake of my blog, is quite fun to analyze. It’s interesting to think about how his sacrifice in the story changed him completely. ANALYZING IS FUN. I would like to dedicate these sets of headcanons to my friend, @ignis-scientia-estrogen-brigade , who has been a big inspiration to me and my blog since day one. Crushes
Gaining crushes on someone has become rather difficult for Ignis after the loss of his eyesight. The instantaneous realization of attraction through the sense of sight has obviously become impossible, as meeting more and more people have proven to be harder as well. Before he suffered his wound, however, Ignis never was one to rely directly on physical attraction. He is much more interested in what others have to offer intellectually.
Truth be told, he now relies on his friends to introduce him to people they believe he would find attractive in more ways the one. His recent injury has left his confidence at an all-time low. As before, he did not have much of an issue approaching someone he fancies.
