“Show me again.” You asked. “Slower.” Connor patiently complied and slowly rolled the coin over his fingers. You tried to copy his movements with the coin you have, but fumbled, watching it fall to the ground. “Argh! I’m never gonna get it. Isn’t this one of the easiest ones to do too?” You swiped the coin up from the floor and tried not to look too disappointed.
“I believe with a little practice, you’ll be able to do it.” Connor flipped the coin into the air and deftly caught it with a small smile. “Remember I am an android. I can calculate every aspect of this trick before executing it.” He proved his point and rolled the coin expertly over his fingers. “Humans don’t have that ability.”
“Thank you for that reminder, Connor.” Your comment was sarcastic, but your laugh was genuine. “Show me that other trick again!” You put your coin down on the desk and watched the android’s hands expectantly.
