•L wouldn’t know it was a crush at first; he’s never experienced one before. Like, it’s never even been in his realm.
•He even goes to far to ask Watari how much chicken soup is required to recover from an illness. Watari is SHOOK.
•”My heartbeat is irregularly high, my stomach is experiencing an odd sensation, and my concentration is being effected negatively by 7 percent. It gets worse when they are around, by 13 percent. Perhaps it’s their shampoo I’m reacting too…”
•Watari has already had his suspicions. To everyone in the world, L had no emotion, but Watari had been reading something on his face the past few weeks.
•”The condition is called a crush.”
•And then Watari wouldn’t say anything more about it. He KNEW that was enough to plant the idea in his head.
•So, L has a cause for the symptoms. This dork immediately finds as much literature on having a crush, which included an embarrassing amount of young adult novellas.
Can I have a headcanon of L having a crush? Is he the type to peacock, have flutters, be uncharacteristically stupid, give unbelievably well researched and specific gifts that seem to teeter on the edge of mind reading, etc? What would be Watari’s reaction?! 😮 Also what would he do if he accidentally saw his crush naked? I ‘unno how I just want L to see a naked woman in real life. Sorry if this is too much. 😞😅
