In your opinion, where do you think the reader would get the tattoo and what would it be? I love your writings ❤️

I’m assuming you were asking about THIS headcanon…

Steve remembers he overheard that you wanted to get a skull tattoo of some sort. But you just couldn’t find a design or artist that you liked. “They’re too much or just too trashy!” You had complained with frustration. So Steve went to work and secretly started drawing one for you.

When he finally showed you his drawing, you almost cried because it was so perfect. You get it tattooed on your right forearm. You don’t even talk to the tattoo artist. Steve instructs him on exactly how it should look and where it should be on your body. When it’s finished, somehow it looks like you were literally born with it. It almost looks like half scar and half birthmark. You are absolutely obsessed with it. You kiss Steve when it’s finished because you think it’s so perfect.

However, when you two come home, Bucky is irritated that Steve got to draw you a tattoo.

“Buck, you don’t draw. And I know because I’ve tried to teach you about a dozen times.” Steve tried to argue and reason with him.

But Bucky just pouted for the whole night, like a baby.

Finally, you tried to compromise.

You brought Bucky to a different tattoo parlor. You handed him a gun and said, “Give me a tattoo.”

“W-What?” Bucky stuttered.

The tattoo artist had agreed to give Bucky a quick tutorial and then let him go on his own. Was it completely illegal? Yes. Was anyone going to try and arrest the Winter Soldier for illegal tattooing? You’d like to see them try.

Bucky is so floored that you trust him enough to put something on your body permanently. Especially when you know that he can’t draw if his life depended on it. So Bucky decided to write something instead.

On your other forearm, right on the bone, Bucky wrote his tattoo. It was a little sloppy. But it made his lines look more authentic.

When he was finished, you looked at your forearm to see, “Till the end of the line” written in Bucky’s handwriting.
