- he would be v annoyed at first
“Why am I in charge of the child?” “Because we don’t trust you on the battlefield yet.”
- for what it’s worth, he’s not exactly mean
- just kind of standoffish
- doesn’t really say much to you
- other than to warn you not to get yourself, or him, into any trouble
- but the more you’re around, the more he gets to know you
- he’s pleasantly surprised at your knowledge of literature, for one so young
- and when you ask about the different technological advances on Asgard and compare them to the tech there on earth and theorize how you could bridge the gap between the two
- he’s impressed with both your smarts and your imaginative wonder
- and after that point, he becomes much more protective of you
- watches over you when you’re finally allowed to start training and learning with other new initiates
- he insists you don’t have to call him ‘Mr. Loki’
“Just Loki is fine, tiny human.”
- he is constantly checking on you
- making sure you’re okay
- have enough to eat
- enough books to read
- he even makes sure you’re staying up with your homework and whatnot
- insisting that you have to keep your wits sharp
- and he gives you the best hugs when you’re sad
- and is just overall v protective and caring for you
