Warnings: None, just 100% fluff
A/N: I absolutely fell in love with dbh and (Connor’s character development) especially after watching jacksepticeye’s playthrough. I’ve officially jumped on the dbh train 🙂 This is also my first imagine on this account and I’m planning on writing for more fandoms in the future! Feedback is much appreciated!
The sun had just risen, its mellow sunrays peeking behind the horizon and making its way through your window. The sun welcomed you a good morning with its sunbeams and shone over your face, making you sluggishly open your eyes. Rubbing the tiredness out of your eyes, you yawned as you sat up from your bed slowly, taking in your surroundings. Your bedroom was illuminated by the bright golden light from outside, which highlighted the little dust particles that danced and floated through the air.
Glancing at the empty space beside you on the bed, you scrunched your brow, confused as to where your favourite android had gone to. Just as you ran a hand through your bed-headed hair, your heard noises coming from your kitchen, the whirl of your coffee machine buzzing and echoing throughout your home. Swinging your legs over the edge of your bed, you stood up, stretching all your stiff muscles before padding your way to the kitchen.
Peering behind the doorframe, you caught a glimpse of Connor placing a round mug on the island countertop before turning around to place a steel cup in the sink.
“Morning Connor.” You grinned as you walked towards the counter, leaning your elbow against the granite surface.
“Good morning, Y/N.” Connor greeted as he turned back around, a light smile dusted on his face.
“Whatcha doing?” You asked, resting your chin in the palm of your hand.
“I know that your love for coffee is… Evident,” He smirked, “Considering you always have a cup of it in your hand or at your desk at the police station.”
“Trust me, Connor. I need coffee to function during cases.”
“On a side note, we should talk about your daily caffeine intake. There’s a good chance that you have a caffeine addiction, but I’ll save that for another day.” He evaluated.
You playfully rolled your eyes. Of course he had been tracking your caffeine consumption.
“Anyways, I thought I would do something to brighten your day a bit, or as what some people like to call, a pick-me-up.”
As Connor pushed the round mug to you, your eyes lit up at the sight in front of you.
“Oh my gosh, Connor.” You gaped.
You gazed at the latte. Decorated on top with steamed milk was a heart, the edges fading into a gradient with the espresso. Impressed was an understatement. You were simply in awe of how gorgeous yet delicate it looked as well as how symmetrical the heart was.
“I don’t think I can drink it.” You breathed.
“Oh, is there something wrong with it? I make you regular black coffee if you want-”
“No, I mean it’s too pretty to drink. It’s beautiful,” You praised, “Thank you so much.”
Connor glanced at the floor with a grin as his LED flashed blue, overwhelmed by your response, “Anything for you, Y/N.”
You felt the heat rise in your cheeks as you bit your lip, trying to prevent yourself from smiling. Walking over to the other side where he was standing, you wrapped your arms around his neck, his arms instinctively wrapping around your waist as he pulled you into a hug.
“How did figure out how to make it?” You asked as you pulled back slightly.
“I watched a video tutorial on how to do latte art and I replicated the process.” He said, gesturing the tablet that sat on the counter, the video paused on what looked like to be the end product of the latte art.
You chuckled, giving his cheek a quick peck before cupping the side of his face with your hand, “You’re incredible, you know that?”
Connor leaned into your touch as he glanced at your lips briefly. Reaching up with his hand, he placed his index finger under your chin, daintily lifting it up so your face was aligned with his. Glancing again, he slowly leaned down as you met halfway, pressing your lips against his. Your lips moved leisurely as his arms pulled you closer to his body. Connor smiled into the kiss, pressing his lips firmer to yours as your hand intuitively reached behind his neck, playing with the short threads of his synthetic hair.
Pulling away, you rested your forehead against his as a smile crept onto your face. Connor couldn’t help but peck your lips again before bringing you into another embrace, his head lightly resting on your shoulder. You ran your fingers through his artificial hair gently before some witticism came into your mind.
“I love you a latte.” You giggled as you played with the strand tuff of hair that hung from his forehead.
Connor tilted his head, his LED flashing between yellow and blue while his brows were furrowed.
“It’s a pun.”
“Oh… Then I love you a latte too.” He smiled, giving you a wink.
