They were menacing.. intelligent. They calculated you both with their eyes as your father stood in front of you, his arms spread out and taking slow steps in a circle.

“i’d like you guys to meet someone,” He looked straight at Blue, then averted his eyes to quickly glance at Charlie, Echo and Delta. “She’s very special to me, so don’t hurt her.”

You were shaking, gripping your fathers vest from behind as you kept your eyes on the raptor right in front of you. It was eerily calm, not taking it’s eyes off of you as you shuffled closer.

“Don’t take your eyes off Charlie, (Y/N).” You father warned, knowing which raptor was which. 

Hesitant, you stretched your arm right in front of you, and which a slow step, you moved right in front of the still raptor and placed a hand on it’s rough skin. You both stood still, and behind you, you could hear your father scolding Blue if she got too close. But you paid no mind, as you felt an instant bond with the dinosaur in front of you.

You moved your hand slightly, and she let out a small growl, shuffling. “Easy girl,” You don’t know where you got this confidence in her from, but you stepped closer and caressed her rough skin.

“Echo, stay back!” 

You father shouted, but was ignored by the raptor as she pounced closer to you, watching you hold Charlie. Her stance was no at all threatening, but curious as she watched you pat her sister. 

And soon enough, you had two raptors cuddling up to you. 

Although Delta and Blue were hesitant around you, you were like a mother to all of them and you were definitely not scared of them anymore.

Like Father, like daughter, right?
