2D slowly drifts in and out of dreaming, dimly aware of the warmth of the bed, the weight of your arm over his waist, the faraway sounds of morning traffic, before sinking back into slumber. You lie beside him, stroking your hand over his hip in a slow, calming circle, watching as minute emotions flicker across his face as he dreams. Tiny smiles, the corner of his mouth twitching, his nose wrinkling, his eyes flickering behind his eyelids.
You move a little closer to him, so your noses almost brush against each other, and wonder what he’s dreaming about.
A soft huff of laughter escapes his throat, and his lips curve into a tiny smile, and you can’t help but smile too. He’s always been a very expressive sleeper, and it wasn’t always in the cute ways.
You still have bruises from when he flung his arm out and punched you in the jaw a few days ago when dreaming he was performing on stage.
