4. “Are you ever going to listen?”

”You know Y/N, that wooden stick isn’t going to do much damage on
someone like me.” Derek scoffed when you grabbed the first object you could
reach, which happened to be one of the previous table legs.

Your eyes followed the length of your ‘weapon’. “Someone like you? A
grumpy old wolf?” a smile spread on your face when Derek growled. “A human can
never overcome a werewolf, not unless there’s silver involved.”

“I still think I can beat you, I’ve said if before.” Derek smiled scornfully
against the cocky tone in your voice and launched against you with teeth and
claws.

Something happened, it felt like all your senses came to life when you
saw him running against you and suddenly; the wooden stick in your hand lost
weight.

You twirled your weapon in your hand and Derek lost focus when you
ruthlessly swung the table leg against his face, resulting with a big blast
that caused the big werewolf to fall backwards.

“I beat you!” you squealed. He stayed on the floor, on his back in shock
as you walked forward to lean over him.  A
mocking smile spread over your face and you tilted your head at the side to
meet Derek’s eyes. “Are you ever going to listen?”
