•L’s partner is probably drunk or stoned when they bring out the flat iron. He resists at first, worried about appearing foolish in front of the only people who have seen his adult face.

•He keeps working while they do their thing. He loves having his hair played with and it never happens. He abandoned his work half way through and closes his eyes, enjoying the attention.
