Chocobros sees s/o painting young Talcott’s nails because Talcott asked them to paint his nails.

To be honest, I think they’d all initially react about the same. First surprise, then acceptance. If the kid asked, there isn’t a problem, right? 

They’d probably be more on the side of, “Wait, when did you find the time to get your hands on some nail polish?” Of all the things to have…?

Noctis is the most relieved that Talcott’s found less dangerous interests. I mean, come on, cactuars? Noctis hasn’t ever had the heart to tell the kid exactly how much 1,000 Needles hurts. Probably the most adamant about getting Talcott to sit still so he doesn’t mess up the polish.

Prompto finds it rather adorable. He’ll take pictures if Talcott allows it, and as soon as he’s given permission, he takes lots of them. If Talcott asks him to get involved (and his s/o teasingly asks him to join, too), then he’ll have a hard time resisting. (I headcanon that Talcott and Prompto are pretty close)

Gladio is, admittedly, the most skeptical about it, but it doesn’t take him too long to shrug it off. The heart wants what the heart wants, and Gladio doesn’t want to step in front of that. If Talcott wants to get his nails painted, let the boy get ‘em done.

Ignis is pretty indifferent to the whole thing. Iggy’s a firm believer of “staying in your lane” if at all possible, so he doesn’t really mind this. He doesn’t really care, but he’s not caring in a good way. Well, actually, he does care. But it’s more about the complimentary colors than the act itself.
