Headcanons for Allen working up the nerve to get in line when he sees his crush working at a kissing booth

my-sinful-academia:

Aaah, you don’t know how difficult it was for me to adapt this idea into some headcanons. I totally would have loved writing a scenario for this one (this even turned kinda scenario-ish) but no problem! Please, enjoy this sweet bean being flustered!

Also, I “subtly” set this on a kind of school AU.

Allen
Walker:

  • When
he sees his crush sitting behind the red counter he nearly suffers a heart
attack. He really can’t decide which of the two questions panicking in his head
is more important: why are they sitting there? Why the hell is the queue so
    long?!
  • He’s
staring, agape, from a corner, secretly hoping his body would become invisible
so that his crush cannot see him standing there like a fish while he can’t
move. Seconds pass and more people add themselves to the line.
  • Seeing
his s/o giving out kisses to the other classmates is making his stomach churn
with discomfort and jealousy, but the last thing he imagines himself doing is
stepping into the line so he is currently having an internal battle about what
they hell he is going to do.
  • To
be honest he will not be able to get in by himself. He will need a little push,
and precisely the pusher is coming right his way, hopping his merry trail into
the queue. Allen should have really seen his senior, Lavi, coming. He should
have really seen him pushing him into the line with him.
  • Allen
can’t stand still while he waits with a firm hand placed on his shoulder. Every
time he hears the small smooch coming from the front and the small “thanks” his
crush cheerfully lets out his heart melts and breaks a little.
  • This
definitely wasn’t the way he wanted to kiss his crush. This wasn’t how he had
planned their first kiss, were it to ever happen. Allen definitely didn’t want
to pay for a short kiss from the love of his life. He wanted it to be eternal,
special and… pretty much, free as well.
  • He
was feeling like a ball of nervousness still by the time Lavi got his kiss from
Allen’s crush. The redhead floated away, finally letting Allen face to face
with his crush, who looked at him with curiosity and glee. “I definitely was
expecting Lavi here, but not you, Allen! It’s such a nice surprise!”
    These
words nearly made the boy faint, but he managed to keep it together when his
crush started to get closer to his face.
  • He
could feel his heart beating in his ears and time moving slowly the short
seconds before their lips met, and Allen stopped functioning. Screw all that
about having to pay, his crush’s lips were finally on his and, even if he wasn’t
as content as he would have wanted his first (or second, you know what I’m
    talking about)
kiss to make him feel like, he was definitely on cloud nine.
  • Maybe
it was his mind just eternizing things, but he could have sworn that their lips
stayed pressed to his for longer and, in his dazed state, Allen almost felt a
small nip on his lower lip and their warm tongue running over it to numb the
inexistent pain. When they pulled away, it took Allen some seconds to take out
the money, but as he went to put it on his crush’s hands, they stopped him,
smiling sweetly at his confused face.
  • “You
are free of charge, darling. Honestly I’d pay for a dozen more of your kisses.”

Their whispered words got Allen’s face redder than a cherry and they winked at
him, discreetly returning him the money before gently shooing him so the next
one could come. Their words, which Lavi had seemingly heard, kept replaying in
Allen’s flustered mind while he stumbled away, internally happy, with a
chuckling senior by his side. He had a chance!
