Before patrol:
- Before patrol, Jason likes to make you a delicious dinner.
- You always make it a point to be home in time to eat with him.
- After dinner, you’ll usually curl up with Jay on the couch.
- He’ll run his hand through your hair as you read, or sometimes you’ll just talk.
- You just spend time together because you never know what might happen.
- Just before Jason leaves, he’ll kiss you and hug you to his chest.
- Pressing a kiss to your forehead, he quietly whispers “I love you.”
- Intertwining your hand with his, you say it back.
- After he leaves, you stay by the window for a long time, looking out at the night sky.
After patrol:
- The first thing you do is patch up any wounds Jason got during patrol.
- You’ll help him to the bedroom and change out of his suit.
- He’ll cuddle you, or you’ll cuddle him, depending on how patrol went.
- While Jason’s nightmares have become less frequent, they do still happen at least twice a week.
- So you help calm him down after one of them.
- You’ll rub comforting circles on his back until the morning sun peeks through the window.
- On nights without nightmares, you and Jason both sleep through the whole night.
- Jason will get up early and make you breakfast before you have to leave for work.
- If patrol was rough, you’ll take the day off and stay home with Jason.
