“We’d make such a cute couple,” Jason mused without ever looking up from the pictures in front of him.
You snorted in response to such a ridiculous statement. When it came to you, Jason was ever the romantic. To the rest of the world he was rough around the edges, but the moment he sees you, he always softens up a bit.
“This is why I fell in love with you,” you said. “Even after years of being together, you’re still trying to be all smooth and woo me.”
You grabbed the picture that made Jason remember when he was just trying to get you to see him, and when you were doing the same thing, deciding that was the perfect one to frame. That picture of the two of you happy and awkward, not yet knowing how important you were to to the other would be the perfect way to start decorating your new home together.
