Commoner Tim Drake falling in love with a Princess
•To say that Tim Drake was one of the smartest adviser in the empire was a understatement.
•He was probably the smartest in the world.
•With his genius mind and commoner upbringing Tim Drake was the talk of the empire.
•Much to the other nobles envy he was found by the (Last name)’s King and was employed.
•Many bribes was always offered to Tim from many different kingdoms in trying to make him join.
•Marriage proposals would often be recommended to him in both lust and selfishness.
•”So Master Tim, I know you know my daughter very well.” A Lord would gesture to the dazzling girl pretending to remain composed.
•”Yes your Lord, I do.” Tim would reply as monotone as possible.
•”If you’re… looking to be married.”
•”With all respect I do not wish to be married,” Tim would begin, “As you well know I have a commoner upbringing, that will surely raise questions if I were to marry your daughter.”
•Tim always threw in the Commoner card in order to keep good relationships with these nobles.
•But Tim remained loyal to the (Last name)’s much too the Kings approval.
•But it wasn’t the pay that kept him there.
•It was the fierce and charming Princess (Name) who he was able to see everyday.
•Against his better judgement he developed feelings for you.
•On one of his first days of being an advisers the King introduced you to him.
•”(Name) I would like you to meet Master Tim Drake.”
•You begrudgingly put down your book down to look at him.
•”You are an adviser correct?”
•Tim was startled of the powerful tone you had.
•”Yes Princess.”
•”So he reads?”
•Your Father replied,”Why Yes (Name) it would be ridiculous if he could not.”
•Tim grimaced at your comment. Just because he was a commoner you seemed to downgrade him on that!
•But his thoughts went a mess as you suddenly smiled.
•”Finally you introduce me to some civilized company Father. If I had to put up with another suitor who pretended to like literature I was going to faint!”
•You got up to greet him and as Tim politely kissed your hand.
•”We should discuss literature sometime Master Drake, charming looks and I’m sure that’s there is a brilliant mind too.”
•As you exited the room Tim knew right then and there that he would admire you.
•His brothers would constantly tease him about this.
•And much to Tim’s dismay one of his brothers Jason worked at the castle too.
•Some days he would see Jason talking to you with no doubt in his mind telling you of his feelings.
•”So Princess, did you know my intellectually little brother had feelings for you?” Jason blurted out of nowhere.
•You quickly looked up surprised, “You’re lying.”
•”I would never lie to you.”
•”I don’t think I would be suitable for him.”
•”He finds you perfect. See how he stares at you a lot. He had feelings for you since day one.”
•Your cheeks turned pink but you tried to brush it off, “I’m sure it is of no importance.”
•Jason grinned at your blushing face, “I keep egging him on to confess but he won’t do it… I’m sure if he had some proof…you know Princess… if you returning the feelings you would finally get the actual suitor you’ve been wanting.”
•”Do as you must.”
•”So you want him?”
•”Do you have to say it in those terms?”
•Jason shrugged carelessly, “I’ll take that answer as a yes”
•Days at the castle Tim spent most of the time advising the King.
•But when he wasn’t he spent most of his free time with you.
•He also was in charge of your suitors.
•Traces of jealously would come through him as he saw countless men try to capture your heart.
•But always felt happy in the end when he would lead them out the door defeated.
•As of late Jason kept nagging him to confess.
•”C’mon Tim we all know how you feel about her. Just get up and kiss her! It always works for me!”
•”I can see that it works quite well. You have no wife after all.”
•Jason threw a wet towel at his face.
•But as time went on the King became restless of you not getting a suitor.
•He oraganized a extravagant ball to get suitors from around the world.
•You we’re far from happy But Tim was instructed to make sure you stayed in the room.
•When the ball became too much you left for the garden when Tim became distracted.
•He found you in the dark garden staring at some flowers.
•”You rejected the Prince of Ray today?”
•”Correct.”
•”He seemed suitable and the King-“
•”My Dad just wants me to marry someone I’ve rejected too many.” You replied glumly
•”My apologies Prin- (Name)”
•”We’re alone Tim so it’s alright to not be so formal.”
•Tim cleared his throat and proceeded to ask,
•”Do you plan on marrying someone.”
•You looked at him with that same gaze before mumbling a small “..yes..”
•”Any traits in particular.”
•”To be frank, someone like you.”
•Tim muttered out a nervous thank you and looked down. You appeared to have something on your mind so he quietly offered.
•”But if you don’t plan on marrying anyone… we could… My apologies I don’t know what-“ Tim began to back out
•”No!” You said eagerly, “What were you going to say?”
•Tim thought of his brothers Jason’s advice and adruptly got up.
•Before he could have feelings of regret he quickly placed a chaste kiss on your lips.
•”We should unite.. In terms of marriage.”
