A/n: DAY NINE! Sorry this one was once again posted a bit later than usual (my time). But I hope everyone enjoys this!! Some Tim fluff for ya!
______

When you arrived to the Manor you were expecting a greeting from your boyfriend before anyone else. But you saw everyone before you saw Tim. Even Jason greeted you before even laying eyes on Tim.

“Oh, uh. Yeah, hey Jason. Merry Christmas. Have you seen Tim?” Asking as you looked around the kitchen. “I haven’t found him.” Nodding Jason gestured toward the direction of Bruce’s study. “In the Cave, been down there since last night.”

You sighed before thanking him and heading to Bruce’s study, then down to the cave. And there he was, dark circles and bags under his eyes. On what had to be his twelfth cup of coffee. “Timothy Jackson Drake, it’s Christmas Eve why are you down here in this dank, dark cave?”

He jolted from your raised voice, looking back at you. “[F/n], you’re early.” You nodded, “Good thing I am, you’ve been down here all night Jason said. Come on, let’s go upstairs. You need to move around.” Beginning to head for the stairs but noticing him not following you. “Tim?”

“[F/n] I really need to solve this case. I haven’t broken a case in a month.” He sighed before dropping his head in defeat. “Oh Tim” you walked over and ran a hand through his hair. “Babe, you need to rest in order to solve cases. You’re running on fumes and coffee. Your brain isn’t working at full capacity.” Your hand slipped down to stroke his cheek. He looked up at you, “I just, I need to work on this. I’ll be up in a few hours. I promise.”

Sighing, you kissed his forehead before leaving to go back up to the manor.

After getting back into the kitchen, which was now empty, you sighed. Looking around you saw the coffee machine. Catching a lip between your teeth, you smirked getting an idea. Going to the drawer where Alfred kept pens and notepads. Taking Tim’s coffee grounds you grinned before writing a note.

Giggling you started going around the manor and leaving notes in particular spots before ending up in his bedroom. Leaving the coffee grounds on the bed.

After about an hour Tim went back up to the kitchen to get another cup of coffee, only to find in place of his coffee grounds a note.

‘Uh-oh, looks like one of Santa’s elves stole your coffee. Maybe you should look for it where an Elf would toast a marshmallow.’

Chuckling Tim put the note in his pocket before walking into the living room and to the fireplace. Looking around the area he found a note sticking out of his stocking.

‘Atta boy, you’re a pretty smart cookie! Maybe you should ask a man made out of ginger about your coffee.’

Smiling Tim added that note to his pocket before jogging around the manor, trying to find Alfred. He ran into Dick first. “Hey Tim, glad to see you out of the cave.” Tim smiled and nodded “Yeah, but have you seen Alfred? I need to ask him what he did with the Christmas cookies.” Dick nodded, “Try the library, I know he was trying to get Damian to clean up a mess Titus made.”

Thanking him Tim headed toward the library, finding him exiting the room. “Hey Alfred, can I ask you a quick question?” Alfred turned and nodded, “What can I do for you Master Tim?” He asked. “Where are the Christmas cookies you made earlier?” Alfred smiled, glad to see him intake something that wasn’t coffee. “In Master Bruce’s study.”

“Thanks!” He grinned before running to Bruce’s study. As soon as he walked in Bruce held up a note from where he was seated at his desk, reading a book. “Thank you” Tim chuckled before taking it.

‘Impressive! Second to last one! Then you get your precious coffee back. So, question the guy who’s lived twice about your second to last clue.’

Bruce watched Tim read the note. “Having fun?” He asked. Tim chuckled and nodded, “She even got Jason in on this.” Smiling as he walked out of the room. A grin tugged at Bruce’s lips, happy to see Tim doing something that wasn’t working a case.

Tim found Jason in the den, talking to Dick about a mission he and the Outlaws had been on. “Hey Jason, you had a message for me?” Tim asked as he walked into the room. Jason looked at him and dug around in his pocket, pulling out a folded up piece of paper. “She’s a keeper” saying as he handed it to him. Chuckling Tim took it “I know” saying before he read the small note.

‘Time to find the last clue! Sooo, check the place you’ve spent the most time.’

Knowing exactly where that was Tim headed down to the Cave and to the bat-computer. Finding the note taped to the screen.

‘Now that you’re in the place where you’ve been the most. Come to the place you spend the least amount of time and the place you should be spending more time!’

Tim chuckled, he shoulda known. He immediately headed up to his bedroom. Finding the coffee sitting on his bed and you were in his desk chair. Grinning at him when he entered. Hopping up you threw confetti at him. “Yay! You solved the case of the missing coffee!”

He laughed and walked over to you, handing you back the notes. “What was all of this?” Asking  with a smile. Your arms wrapped around his neck as his hands held your waist. “Well, you said you needed to solve a case before joining us for Christmas Eve. So, consider this case solved, and now spend some time with me and your family.” Your nails lightly scratched the back of his neck.

Smiling Tim pressed a short kiss to your lips. “I guess you’re right.”

“But, first.” You removed your arms from his neck and took his hands pulling him to his bed. “You’re going to skip the cup of coffee and take a well needed Christmas Eve nap.” Tim laughed and sat on the bed next to you. “Will you be joining me for this nap?”

“Well someone has to make sure you actually take it, don’t they?” A teasing tone in your voice and he smiled before kissing you. “I guess so.” He tucked your hair from your face, “Merry Christmas [F/n].” Giggling you smiled, “Merry Christmas Tim, now…” You pushed him down on the bed before snuggling into his side “…Sleep!”
