Pairing: Tim Drake x reader

Word Count: 1047

“Your usual Tim.” Those words made Tim get out of the manor and take a 30 minute drive to downtown gotham to the coffee shop. Those words made him get butterflies in his stomach. He has been getting up early in the morning to get a cup of coffee and she your face everyday for the past month.

But he didn’t really talk to you. He had the biggest crush on you, and he was too shy to say anything to you. If he did get the courage to say something to you it was only his order.

You also had a crush on the boy. He was the cute shy Wayne boy with the best hair you have ever seen. That is why you always remember his order, he always wants a coffee with one sugar. You were shy yourself, so you never had the courage to say anything to him. He was Bruce Wayne’s ward and you are a college student that is a  barista to pay off all of your students loans. Why would he bother with you? But you always know what time he comes in so you make sure you have his coffee ready for him when he comes in.

One day all of the boys were over Jason’s downtown apartment working on a case that they needed to crack. They have been pulling an all nighter and needed some coffee, but Roy broke the coffee machine while trying a new invention.  

Tim realize that he already miss his normal coffee run and he really wanted to see you. “Hey I know a great coffee shop that is a few blocks up.” he said trying to hide how excited he is to see you. “Sure why not.” Dick said.

They all walk down to the coffee that you work. Dick started to see the Tim is getting really nervous, he just brush it off because he thought that he just needed some coffee in his system.

Once they enter the shop, you saw TIm and smile and wave at him. All of the boys are worried why saw the barita waving at them. Then Tim walk over to the counter to take the orders. “You usual right.” and with those words all that Tim could do was smile. “Y-yes Y/N, and and um I would also want um two black coffees and o-one hot chocolate.” Tim said with a nervous voice

Jason, Dick, and Damian all gave each other with the look like ‘Tim has a crush.’ “Do you want the hot chocolate in a kids cup.” you said while looking at the small boy. “No, that is for me and I would love a adult cup.” Dick said with a smile on his face.

Once you put in the order, Tim went to go and use the bathroom before they started working on the case again. “Ok we need a plan to get Tim and that girl to go on a date.” Dick said. “Why do we need to help him? If he can’t get a girl to out with him by himself, then he would need help for the rest of the relationship.” Damian said not wanted to do it, so they could get back to the case. “We need to help him because the kid need a little push, and I have a plan to do so.” Jason said with a smirk on his face. “TT, whatever.”

Tim comes back and sits down and starts working on the case. “Tim your order is ready!” You said with the drinks in your hand. Tim was just about to get up Jason stops him “Don’t worry I got this.”

Jason goes up to you, and starts to take the coffee then stops. Tim is starring Jason down like a hawk wondering what he is up to. “Are you okay sir.” you said wondering why he stop. “Oh, sorry, I was lost in those beautiful eyes of your.” he said winking at you. You started to blush and giggle a little.

All Tim can see was red. He was the one who comes to see you everyday. He was the one the suggest to come here. He was the one with the crush on you. He got jump and went over to you and Jason “Really Jason.” He said get mader and mader bt the second. “What is wrong, I am just talking to the lovely Y/N.” He said winking at you, and you blushing more. “Look I had a crush on Y/N for like a month now, and you can’t just come in here and start to flirt with her!” Tim said almost screaming. “Oh really and what are you going to about it.” Jason said going down to Tim level. You just stood there in shock the boy you had a crush on said that he had a crush on you too. But what happen next no one saw coming.

Tim’s hands were in a fist and he started to rise them. It all happen in slow motion. Tim punch Jason in the face. The whole coffee shop got quiet. Jason started to laugh because the punch didn’t hurt at all to him, but on the other hand Tim was holding his hand in pain.

You rush over to the other side of the of the counter to make sure Tim was okay, while everybody else was checking on Jason. Jason said that he was ok to everyone and grab the the drink and sit back down with a big smile on his face. “I can’t believe you did that for Tim. I thought the you hated him.” Dick said with a shock look on his face. “Oh I do, but he needed the help.” he said before drinking his coffee and going back to the case.

You took Tim to the back to give him ice on his hand. While you were putting ice on his hand, it was quiet for a good minute until you said “I like you too.” in a quiet voice. “Can I take you out on a date. I promise I wouldn’t punch anyone.” Tim said but with more confidence that time. “Yes, I will love to” you said with while laughing.
