#15: “I’d kill for a coffee…literally.”
It was an early morning when you woke up in bed, however you distinctly remember falling asleep on the couch last night as you tried to wait up for Tim. He was late coming back from patrol which lead to you crashing on the couch while watching late night reruns.
Slipping out of bed, you padded out of your bedroom to find Tim slumped over his laptop. Sighing you walked over and ran a hand through his hair. “Morning” You said hoarsely as your vocal cords were still waking up themselves.
Tim looked up at you and gave you a tired smile. You played with his hair before asking, “How do you feel? You were out late.”
He shrugged. “I’d kill for a coffee…literally.”
Chuckling you shook your head, you stretched before heading for the kitchen and putting on a cup of coffee. “Your family would kill me for enabling your caffeine addiction.”
Tim pulled himself from the couch and met you in the kitchen. Finding you getting some ingredients out for breakfast. “But they’d keep you around for making sure I’m eating.” He smiled before walking to the cabinet to pull out two mugs. Preparing the coffee to both your liking.
“Yeah, but even I can’t get between you and coffee.” You grinned at him.
He shook his head, “I’d choose you before coffee any day.”
“Really?”
“Really”
