SUMMARY: Tim was at Starbucks for his regular coffee fix, but there’s a new
barista and boy is he blushing right now.

AUTHOR’S NOTE: I’m working on a lot of stories right now
that includes Batmom and/or Batsis, but I wanted to throw something for Tim.

E/C – Eye Color

This wasn’t happening. This never happened to him. Maybe it
was because he hadn’t had his morning coffee yet. Or maybe it was just an off
day for him. Tim was sitting at the Starbucks just across the office and he was
a mess.

He had just entered the Starbucks and tripped at the door nearly
falling on his face. He was lucky he maintained his balance or that would’ve
been embarrassing.

But then when it was his turn to order his regular coffee,
the wind was knocked out of his lungs. Standing behind the bar was the most beautiful
person he’s seen. You had E/C eyes that seemed to be looking into his soul.

He hadn’t seen you before or you weren’t working during the
times he came in, but oh boy, Tim had a problem getting his order out, because
he was spluttering all over the place.

He was so thankful for one of the familiar faces behind the
bar answering for him. You smiled at him taking his order. Tim paid for his
coffee and tipped her before going to a table to wait for his drink.

And here he was sitting at the table with his leg moving up
and down nervously. He needed to slap himself to get all these nerves in check.

When he heard his name being called, he stood up so quickly
he nearly threw the plant that was on the table off and crashing down. He was
thanking himself for catching it and not embarrassing himself even more.

He walked up to the bar and you were standing there with a smile
on your face. You handed him his drink with a wink before going back to work.

Tim blushed even more as he thanked her before walking out
of the café with his drink. Tim walked to the office and his blush never left as
he got to his office.

He sat down at his desk and he put his coffee on it before
doing his work.

***** TIME SKIP A FEW HOURS*****

It was the end of the day and Tim was tuckered out as he was
packing up. He was just about to throw his coffee cup away when he noticed
something written on it.

He raised his eyebrow as he picked up the cup to examine it.
He smiled brightly when he saw what it was. There written on his cup was your
phone number and a little note from you.

You’re really cute when you’re flustered.
I get off at 5pm.
Let’s have some coffee 😉

Tim looked at his watch and it was a few minutes till 5. He
packed up quickly and dashed out of his office as quickly as possible.

Who would’ve thought him being a klutz in front of a
beautiful person would lead to an instant date?
