“You really did that?” You squeal, pulling back the comforter on your side of the bed. Loki just groans from his place against the headboard and covers his face with his hand.
“Yes,” he sighs, and you just laugh as you plop down into bed. He sends a look your way as you curl onto your side and give him a sweet smile. “I still can’t believe he told you that.”
“I can’t fucking believe you turned into a snake and then stabbed him.” You couldn’t help the giggles as they floated through your lips, and he settled down into bed next to you, rolling his eyes. It only made you laugh harder.
“I was quite the, playful little child.” You giggle at his choice of words, smiling at the pink that dusts his cheeks as you curl against him.
“Playful is just a fancy word for mischievous, you know.” You sigh, feeling your eyes grow tired and place one gentle hand on Loki’s abdomen.
“Yes, yes,” he chuckles, reaching over to flicker off the lamp and then settle back into bed. He presses his lips to your crown in a soft kiss. “I’m aware.”
