Summary: Peter goes to Stark Tower with his class which includes you, his crush, for a field trip. The avengers knew about his crush, and Peter knew that they would tease him in front of you for it. Especially Tony

Peter is doomed. He watched with dread as Niki, one of Mr. Stark’s intern walked towards his group. His classmates were all amazed by the hustle and bustle of Stark Tower. Peter on the other hand, was the opposite.
He really, really didn’t want to be here. He had even considered fleeing. But, the field trip to Stark Tower, which is now the Avenger’s tower, is an essential for passing the grade. Which Peter thought, is downright ridiculous.
Don’t get him wrong. He loves being at the tower. But being here with all his classmates is a completely different thing. Plu, the fact that you’re also here makes everything worse. He’s pretty sure Mr. Stark and the other avengers knew about his crush on you, and would embarass him if they saw him.
“Hello Midtown, my name is Niki Nolan and I will be your tour guide for today!” She announced, catching everyone’s attention.
Peter tried to hide behind you and Ned as Niki scanned the group, but recognition lit up on her face when her eyes found Peter.
“Oh hey, Peter! Didn’t expect to see you here,” Niki smiled. All his classmates, turned to look at him.
“Uh h-hey,” Peter stuttered and gave a small awkward wave.
“You know Peter?” Flash asked, still not believing about Peter’s stark internship.
“Yes, of course! He had helped me several times in the lab. He’s quite the little genius,” She answered, sending a smile Peter’s way.
Everyone was surprised by this. Except you and Ned of course, and maybe Michelle too judging by the unimpressed look on her face.
You giggled when Peter blushed under everyone’s attention. Niki who finally noticed Peter’s embarassment, sent him an apologetic look before signalling everyone to follow her to the elevator.
“We’re going to visit Dr. Banner in his personal lab today. His lab is located on the avenger’s private floors, and next to Tony Stark’s personal lab.” Niki pressed the elevator button, and continues to talk.
“You should probably not get you hopes up. Mr. Stark is in meeting right now.” A few student’s face fell in slight dissapointment. Niki who noticed this immediately adds.
“But we’re going to pass the training rooms on the way there. So if you’re lucky, you could probably see an avenger training.”
Everyone cheered, even Mr. Harrington seems to be excited to see the avengers.
“Give me a reason to not turn around an leave,” Peter groaned when the elevator dinged and students starts filing in.
“I can give you three,” You said, gesturing to Flash who’s telling with his friends that Peter probably paid Niki to say things.
“You can prove Flash that you do ‘intern’ here, plus you have to do this to pass the grade, and well… . I like it better if you’re here,” You shrugged sheepishly then pushing the blushing Peter into the elevator.
When the elevator closed, a female robotic voice sounded startling several people.
“Good morning Peter and, if I’m not mistaken, Ned Leeds and Y/N L/N. Would you like me to notify Boss that you’re here?”
“No!” Peter almost yelled, earning a few looks from his classmate. Clearing his throat, he tried again. “U-uh no thank you Friday. I’m on a tour.”
“Alright Peter. Have fun.”
Peter sighed in relief when the A.I’s voice had shut down. At least this proves that he’s not lying about his internship.
He glanced to his right and met your eye. You raised an eyebrow at the fact that Friday knows your name, and Peter bit his lip.
“Uh, I told Friday once that you guys are my best friend,” Peter lied. He certainly talked about you more than once, which Friday must’ve heard, to Mr. Stark. You don’t need to know that though.
The elevator opened to big glass doors and a huge room with all sorts of hurdles and weapons. Wanda, is the only avenger there but that doesn’t stop everyone from freaking out.
“Oh my God, it’s Scarlett Witch!” Someone yelled making Wanda turn to look their way.
She starts walking to them, a smile on his face which grew into a grin when she spotted Peter.
“Hello. You must be Peter’s friends.” Wanda greeted warmly. Without missing a beat, everyone quickly nodded. Even Flash.
“Wanda, do you mind to show them what you can do?” Niki asked.
“No, of course not,” Wanda replied, a tiny smirk pulling at her lips while her eyes flickered between you and Peter.
This is not good.
Peter’s spidey sense tingled, but he couldn’t run from Wanda’s force that pulled him to the right and into your arms which was ready to catch him.
Peter looked up at you wide eyes from his position in your arms to see you laughing along with everyone. His cheeks burned red at your close proximity then quickly scrambled to his feet.
He glared at Wanda who’s snickering with amusement.
“Okay, we need to move now. Say thank you to Wanda.”
Everyone chimed their thank you and waved at Wanda then followed Niki along a hallway.
“Now we’re going to meet Dr. Bruce Banner. You can ask him questions if you want to.”
Niki opened the huge door to the lab and ushered everyone in.
“Hello everyone,” Bruce smiled, a tiny bit awkward from the students astonished stares. “I’m Bruce Banner. This is my personal lab where I do my researches, experiments, and invent. You guys can look around and ask me questions. Please don’t touch anything. It could be dangerous.”
They didn’t need to be told twice.
Everyone is instantly scaterred, wandering around the room, and marvelling at inventions.
“Where does this door leads to?” Cindy asked, pointing at the door.
“Oh, that’s Peter’s lab.”
“What?!” Flash yelled, not believing his ears.
“Can we see it?” Cindy asked, and everyone else followed in agreement.
“Uhhh, one second,” Peter said then rushed into his lab before opening the door back to let his classmates in.
Bruce followed and frowned when he scanned the room.
“Peter, where are all the pictures of you and Y/N that you have here?”
“Bruce!”

Peter exhaled in relief when they made it back to the elevator. It was not so bad. You didn’t find the pictures thing weird, since you guys are best friends after all. And most of all, they didn’t meet Tony.
It’s a little bit too fast to say that. Because when the elevator door open, Tony Stark is there standing with his award winning smile.
“Holy sh- crap! It’s Tony Stark,” Ned breathed, flabbergasted by the sight of the billionaire.
“Hi, Ned.”
“He knows my name!” Ned yelled, turning to Peter, his jaw still hanging open. At that moment, Niki told everyone to step out of the elevator since they all seem to have forgotten to do so.
“Nobody told me that Peter’s class is here. I would’ve been happy to your be tour guide rather than be in that boring meeting.”
Peter sees the way Tony’s eyes scoured the group then finally settled on you.
“You’re Y/N, right? The girl Peter never stops rambling about. He has a crush on you. Do you know that?”
Peter facepalmed. This could not be happening. He kept his hands on his face to cover his eyes from seeing your reaction. His face must’ve matched the bright red of his spidey suit by now.
“Yes, I’m Y/N. And, um. . no?”
Peter shuffled closer to you, but he didn’t dare to look at you, not wanting to see the rejection. He stared at his feet instead and fiddles with the end of his t-shirt. “I’m sorry Y/N. This is why I dreaded coming here.”
“What? Peter, I’m glad Mr. Stark told me.” You said, and smiled softly when Peter finally meets your eye. “Because actually, I like you too.”
You landed a peck on Peter’s cheek, smiling sheepishly, feeling the heat creeping up your neck. Peter’s eyes widen in surprise and the corner of his lips tugged into an embarassed, but lovesick grin.
Ned was almost screaming in excitement, and Peter’s classmates where all whooping and cheering. Even Michelle couldn’t hide her smile this time.
Peter trailed his eyes back to Mr. Stark who’s watching silently with a smug look.
