Following him when he got into trouble for stealing that Orb, and failing to fight Gamora, Rocket and Groot.
You’d still accidentally follow him into the prison though.
Peter being extremely protective of you like HELL, seriously. I mean if someone tried to touch you, he wouldn’t even try to distract them first…he’d just start a fight like they better run lmao.
Meeting the guardians and becoming close with Mantis since you were kinda in the same boat here.
Being overprotective of the guardians, especially Peter since he was a Terran and was weaker than the others so he could get hurt easier.
They made you the healer of the group and you looked after Baby Groot when you were on missions.
One time Peter came back with TWO MASSIVE GASHES on his back, claiming they were ‘just a scratch.’
You cried you eyes out at the thought of him getting injured or dying on a mission and him having to kiss you to get you to shut up.
TBH that was when you started having a ‘thing’ for each other.
Him stealing kisses sneakily but you managing to dodge his slightly nsfw intentions, as you were highly inexperienced.
You being slightly insecure around Gamora, since she was like a freAKING GODDESS and was so badass that you felt like you were useless and that Peter could do better.
Him always reassuring you that he loves your clumsiness and that you aren’t a fighter; he loved our role as the ‘Mum’ of the group.
Because you were so gentle, he’d ADORE being the little spoon when you slept, as he felt so cared for and cherished.

Basically you were the funniest couple around and the guardians absolutely adored you.
