Dating Peter Quill:

• Meeting Peter at a bar when him and the Guardians are out celebrating a successful mission
• Him noticing you’re getting some unwanted attention, and he’s about to go help you out when you end up beating all the guys up on your own
• And Peter is incredibly impressed, and a little intimidated
• Him trying to be super smooth and charming when he approaches you, which doesn’t really work out
• “Hey, I’m Peter. You probably know me by Star-Lord. I was going to give you a hand with those guys bothering you.”
  “I had it handled. I’ve never heard that name in my life.”
  “Come on, really?”
• But you think Peter is cute because he’s so goofy, and the two of you hit it off
• Peter taking you to the Milano to show it off, but then the Guardians get a call for a mission, and you get dragged into it
• But you work well with the team and they all take a liking to you, and at the end of it all, Peter is begging you to become a Guardian
• “y/n, you’re super badass. Even Rocket likes you, and I can’t say that to a lot of people. What do you say – want to become a Guardian of the Galaxy? And, uh, while we’re at it, wanna go out on a date with me, too?”
  “I’d love to, Peter. Both the Guardian part and the date part.”
• You and Peter always playfully teasing each other
• Him playing you all his favorite songs so often that you memorize the lyrics to them pretty quickly
• The two of you singing together, and Peter coaxing you to dance around with him every once in a while
• Him always getting super proud when you’re kicking ass in missions
• Wearing his red leather jacket 
• The both of you avoiding telling each other ‘I love you’ for a long time, since the both of you get a little nervous 
• But when you almost get killed on a mission, Peter blurts it out
• “y/n, I love you! Jesus, I’ve been so scared to say it, and I almost lost you and I never got to tell you.”
  “I love you too, Peter. I should’ve said it earlier, too.”
