Peter Maximoff with Glasses Headcanons (featuring some shitty edits I made)
Just imagine Peter with glasses:
-He’d constantly have to push them back up with his fingers because they always seem to slide down his nose
-This especially happens a lot whenever he’s reading; he elevates his head at the perfect angle that makes his glasses just slip down the bridge of his nose
-Before he got his goggles, he had to tape his glasses onto his ears to keep them from falling off when he runs
-He tried running without them once, but he just ran into signs & poles & people ALL the time, to he resorted to contacts for a while
-He HATES contacts because he can never get them in right & he always pokes his eyes several times when he tries to get them on
-Once he got his fancy smancy goggles, he made sure they had reading glassware built in, so they functioned as glasses & goggles & he no longer had to fumble with tape & contacts
-He loses his glasses almost daily & you have to help him find them because he’s practically blind without them
-“Hey, babe, have you seen my glasses?”
-“Peter, I just helped you find them like twenty minutes ago!”
-Most of the time, when he “loses” them, they were actually on his head the whole time
-Whenever you guys kiss (which is pretty much all the time because Peter craves constant affection), his glasses get fogged up & his cheeks turn a soft shade of pink
-Every time you kiss, Peter’s glasses bump against your nose & he misses your lips a lot
-You love it when his glasses slide down his nose while you kiss & he tries to push them back up without breaking the kiss
-You always break it, though, & push his glasses back up for him, which causes him to smile all cutely & blush
-On one occasion, you & Peter were showering & he forget to take his glasses off, so they fogged up so much that all he saw was steam
-“Babe? Where’d you go??”
-“I’m right here; your glasses are foggy from the steam.”
-“Damn it, I forgot to take them off!”
-“Can you see me now?”
-“I can’t see without my glasses.”
-“Damn it, PetER”
-Your absolute favorite thing is when you have Peter lying underneath you as you straddle his waist & he just looks up at you with his brown, doe eyes through his glasses, his lashes brushing against the lenses as he blinks & his cheeks turning a bright shade of red as he whimpers when you touch him
-Although Peter rarely tops (he prefers being the receiver because that boy loves being loved & cared for), when he does, he looks just as adorable & innocent when he looks down at you, pushing his glasses up his nose so he can see you better & chews gently on his bottom lip
-There’s NOTHING prettier in this world than Peter with his glasses halfway down his nose, his eyebrows furrowed, & his pink lips forming little ‘o’ shapes as he lets out soft whimpers & moans
-Along with losing his glasses, Peter also constantly breaks them
-Stepping on them, sitting on them, dropping them, you name it, Peter has broken his glasses that way
-One time, he broke his glasses while you were being intimate because he buried his face in your shoulder so harshly that he cracked the lenses
-“Peter, oh my God are you okay? What was that noise?”
-“I-I’m good, just cracked m-my glasses…”
-A fair shair of his glasses were also accidentally broken by his younger sister, but Peter never got mad at her for any of the pairs she broke, even when she broke his absolute favorite pair in existence
-He also had one scary occasion where a complete asshole made Peter drop his glasses & he stepped on them when Peter tried to find him
-You kicked that guy’s ass so hard & took Peter to get new glasses (with the money Peter stole from that asshole while you beat the shit out of him) & some ice cream afterwards
-Peter is very forgetful of his glasses
-He forgets where he leaves them, even though they’re always on his nightstand
-He’s always falling asleep with his glasses on
-You always tell him to take them off before bed, but he never does
-“Peter, take your glasses off. You’re falling asleep.”
-“No I’m not! I’m watching the movie.”
-“With your eyes closed?”
-“Peter?”
-“…zzzzzzz…”
-You secretly love it though because he looks so peaceful & adorable
-You always smile & kiss his nose softly as you gently pull his glasses off & set them on the nightstand beside his bed
-Waking up to blind, morning Peter is so precious
-You like to wake him up with lots of kisses on his face because he crinkles his nose & scrunches his cheeks in the cutest way when you do so
-He’ll wake up, rub his eyes, blink a few times, & give you a lazy, tired smile. Then, he’ll reach over blindly towards the nightstand to grab his glasses & say something like “The better to see you with, my dear” or “Let me get a better look at this goddess in my bed” in his husky morning voice
-He loves nudging his face into your neck & you love when his cold glasses rub against your skin because it reminds you that he’s there & he’s real & he loves more than anyone & anything else in this world
-Peter loves it when you try on his glasses; it’s an instant turn on for him
-BONUS: if you wear glasses, too, he insta-nuts every time
-You get him the coolest cases for his glasses
-You’ve gotten him a RUSH one, a Pink Floyd one, a Pac-Man one, & an Atari one, just to name a few
-When he leaves for his first official mission, he lets you hold onto a pair of his glasses (he always has at least 2 pairs because he breaks and/or loses them) until he comes back as a reminder of him
-You wear that pair religiously until he comes back
-Peter just about cries when he sees you with them on
-When he cries, you take his glasses off & wipe the tears from his eyes before kissing his cheeks & hugging him tightly into your chest
-It makes his heart rattle against his ribcage every time because you care so much
