This is actually an imagine!
“Warren, they’re beautiful!” You said reaching out to touch the very edges of his wings. He had been hiding in his room for over a week and refusing to let anyone in until finally you managed to get him to open the door. When he did you were shocked. His usual metal wings were gone and his originally feathery, fluffy wings had grown back. There were bits of metal all over his floor from the wings that had cracked and shattered. You stepped over the bits of metal. He shied away from your touch. “Warren, I’m not gonna hurt you.”
“I don’t know if I can believe that, everyone else does.” he spoke quietly with an edge of anger in his voice. Instead of reaching for his wings you gently touched his face. He flinched under your touch before relaxing. Your thumb stroked his cheek running over the tattoos left on them.
“Not everyone.” you said smiling. He smiled and his wings spread out behind him showing you the full size and glory of his wings. You were so awestruck you nearly fell over. One of his hands reached up and folded over yours. “Not everyone, my Angel, not everyone.” He left a kiss on your lips as soft as his feathers.
