Kurt Wagner + Things you said when you were scared + Things you said in the dark

There’s a loud scream from the TV and Kurt
jolts back against you as blood flashes across the screen, squeezing his eyes
shut.

“Turn it off, turn it off!” He pleads, and
you chuckle fondly as you reach for the remote, switching off the TV, leaving
the room dark.

“Hey,” You say, putting a gentle hand on
his arm “It’s off. It’s okay.” He’s trembling slightly as he leans back into
the couch, taking a deep shaky breath.

“Why,” he starts “Why would Peter recommend
that? It was horrible.” Kurt’s voice is indignant and he’s got an adorable
frown on his face. You laugh, winding your arms around his shoulders and
pulling him reassuringly against you.

“Peter’s a dick. I don’t think he was
expecting you to listen to him when he suggested it.” You reply, rubbing
soothing circles on Kurt’s back as you lean into him.

“I shouldn’t’ve.” he grumbles, and you rest
your head on his shoulder.

“No, you shouldn’t’ve. But now you know better
than to go to Peter for movie recommendations. Maybe try Jean, next time. Or
Jubilee. They won’t give you horror flicks if you ask for a good movie.” You
suggest and Kurt lets out a quiet laugh, shifting slightly so he can wrap one
of his arms around you.

“You’re probably right. But I still don’t
think I’ll be able to sleep tonight.” He complains and you drop a light kiss on
his cheek, enjoying the way he flushes slightly at the show of affection.

“Well if you get scared then you know where
to find me.”
