Prompt 016: “And right over there, that’s where I simultaneously killed hundreds of enemies. Probably the happiest moment of my life.” “Excuse me?” “I mean, that memory was one of them, meeting you was the happiest moment of my life.”
“And right over there, that’s where I simultaneously killed hundreds of enemies. Probably the happiest moment of my life.” You pronounced, showing Peter and your children the street you had single-handedly taken down hundreds. At first, you had hated the memory, but as time progressed, you soon came to turns, and eventually, it began one of the best moments of your life.
“Excuse me?” Your husband asked you, perplexed. His hand was placed over his heart, taken back by your statement. You rolled your eyes at his dramatic scene, however, both Peter and the kids loved it. They stared at you wide-eyed, waiting for your response eagerly.
“I mean, that memory was one of them, meeting you was the happiest moment of my life.” You reassured him, a bright smile displayed on your features. Loki nose crinkled at your response, a loud laugh emitting through his throat. You crouched down to your kids, hugging them closely.
“Let’s let daddy think that’s the happiest moment of my life. I’m still quite happy of that memory.”
“I heard you!” Loki exclaimed as he wrapped his arms around both you and your kids, lifting you all up in the air. Your kids squeaked, clutching onto both you and Loki tightly. Peter laughed at the scene before him, smiling ear-to-ear.
“You two might be my favorite aunt and uncle. Well… other than Aunt May, she’s number one.” Your eyes glowered, turning into a dark indigo. Icicles began to form around you, encircling and aiming towards Peter, who gulped.
“Ummm… I never meant it in a defensive way-”
“Reindeer Games is your favorite uncle?”
Peter turned around slowly, face-to-face with Tony.
“Oh come on guys… I consider you all family. You all mean so much to me,” Peter said. Tony glared at him.
“Explain to me how he’s your favorite uncle? I distinctly remember you telling me you were terrified of meeting him. I also gave you a suit, I upgraded it afterward. I even gave you an internship.” Tony remarked. Peter’s face fell, shrugging his shoulders.
“Technically, you didn’t give me an internship…” Tony’s eyes widened, making you chuckle. Tony faced you and glared.
“This doesn’t concern you, I don’t want to be impaled today, Katara.” Your eye-twitched… that stupid nickname… “Well, if you’re gonna be striking nerves, I might have to intervene.” Both your kids and husband gazed at you, concern written on your faces.
“Mommy’s gonna kick your-”
“Language!” Loki quickly shushed his children, settling them down on the cement. “Don’t do anything too rash love,” Loki muttered.
“Well… if it makes you feel any better, I consider you more like a father-type of figure Mr. Stark.” Peter interceeded. Tony was about to say something when his phone started to go off. He quickly answered.
“Hi, honey… no. I’m with Peter right now and-uhh, no? Are you kidding me? Alright. I’ll be right there… love you… bye.” Tony quickly hung up, rubbing his temples. He looked at Peter and Loki one last time.
“We’ll discuss this at dinner.” Tony then flew away, making Peter slightly anxious. Turning to you and Loki.
“Hey, I know this is last minute, but can-”
“Yes, Peter. You can stay at our house tonight.” Loki quickly answered, scooping up his children. “We’re having Thor over if it’s too much trouble. And desert tonight is ice cream-”
“Yay! Uncle Thor is coming over!” Your children screamed happily. “Uncle Peter! You can sleep on the airbed we just got!” One of your kids said excitedly, bouncing happily.
“That’ll be fantastic. May is not going to be back in town for a few days, so it’d be awesome to spend time with you. But umm… Aunt (Y/n)… if you don’t mind, can you perhaps… remove the icicles? It’s bothering me.” Peter asked slowly, pointing to the dozen of icicles hovering around Peter.
You quickly muttered an apology, turning the icicles into the water, resulting in it to rain onto the ground. Peter thanked you quickly, running up to you.
“I can see how you defeated all of those enemies, could you tell us the story when we get back home?” Peter suggested, smiling innocently.
“Storytime!” Loki and your children yelled simultaneously, making everyone laugh.
“If you retell your story, I get to retell mine as well,” Loki said smugly. “I have thousands of them-”
